Jason Graves Scoring Competition - "Discovery Of Michelmoria" - Samuel Ferraz-Leite

The Brief:
Our adventurer is lost deep in the jungle searching for the Lost City of Michelmoria! Write a piece of music between 30 and 60 seconds that conveys exploration and adventure!

My take on this:
I envisoned some small story arc to be told musically. At first, the adventurer is lost and in danger. Maybe she is hiding from someone or something -- or running away. Suddenly, she takes a turn and finds some passage of a sort. Maybe a cave with a secret exit hidden by the fauna of the jungle. As she exits the passage, the adventurer is presented with the majestic sight of the Lost City of Michelmoria. She has reached her destination.

I am very thankful for any kind of feedback! This is my first time participating in a scoring comptetition, so any kind of critique or advise is highly welcome.
