I have made this several times … delicious! I only wish this had been included in your cookbook.
ОтветитьMarvelous!
ОтветитьI don't know what I did wrong but I ended up with a mushy watery mesh. It still tasted nice but I'd like another go at doing it right.
The only part of the recipe I changed was using 4 thighs instead of 6 because there is only 2 of us.
Left everything else the same.
The only difference in cooking was I used my 24cm dutch oven (casserole dish) which is deeper than this one.
I go with 1 cup rice to 1.5 water when cooking rice normally. 900ml seemed like a lot of stock, it just didnt get absorbed?
Can someone shed some light? 😂
You've never steered me wrong before but this one is going to be a challenge. In my area we have Mexican chorizo, Salvadoran and Filipino. Spanish is hard to come by. I'll have to substitute with another cured sausage.
ОтветитьIs the oven temperature for a fan oven?
ОтветитьWow wonderful.I like this recipe.
Iam from Kerala in state of India
Scrumptious...😊
Ответитьhmmmmmm just looks like a very basic jollof to me🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨
ОтветитьJust tried this recipe. The flavor is good, but I think 900ml of chicken stock is too much. My rice is too soft and watery. I have to put the pot on the stove to cook again. Kinda disappointed
ОтветитьLooks amazing and I was with you right up until the lemon.
ОтветитьMade this tonight for friends who are visiting with their two children age 4 and 8. They all absolutely loved it with the 4 year old saying it was the best chicken ever!! All that was left on plates was the lemon slices! Will definitely make this again :D
ОтветитьI often cook for my elderly parents and use many of Nikki’s recipes. They really enjoyed this last night and didn’t need any additional sides. I really like that every recipe I have created from this site has been super yummy but also worked exactly as planed without needing any adjustments. Really awesome stuff. (Australia)
ОтветитьMuy bueno 😊
ОтветитьFor some reason, it seems like green olives would be good in this dish.
ОтветитьHallo
Good morning
I am pareed chief cook and bakery chef how are you doing today
Afternoon Nicki, this might be 2 years old, but the dish looks as fresh as the New Year 2023, a very happy and prosperous year to you and the family. I am sure the chorizo will flavour the chicken delightfully, and this really is a one pot meal. So nutritional and it looks so tasty. Something new to try later on. Take care, kind regards, Elize
ОтветитьCooked this tonight, and it was amazing and came out perfect....thank you....ive subscribed as your vids are awesome....i added one ingredient, i added bacon lardons with the cherizo.....thank you.....xx
ОтветитьA simple enough recipe, explained well so that even I could follow it. My chicken and rice will be like this next time. Tgank you
ОтветитьThank you Nicky. Delicious. All your recipes are fabulous!
ОтветитьToo much liquid for the rice. Follow your instincts and use the correct ratio of rice to liquid. Mine was too soupy. Flavor was good but again, follow the correct ratio of rice to liquid.
ОтветитьWill make this. Yum!
ОтветитьThis looks AMAZING
Ответитьwonderful 😋
ОтветитьWonder if this would work if you removed the skin first and rubbed the flavour onto the chicken meat instead? Cant stand the skin.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing, I will try today .
ОтветитьI love your recipes and have tried many with great results.
ОтветитьTo me this meal has a few weak spots. I think the different flavors don't really go well together. The rice ended up a bit too lemony. And the chicken skin won't be crispy when covered with a lid or foil.
ОтветитьCan I make this on the hob as my pan handles are not oven proof
ОтветитьSo basically Spanish Chicken Biriyani. lol
ОтветитьWhat a yummy dish!!!!
ОтветитьLooks amazing! I’m going to give it a go for me and the wife tonight, can’t wait!🥳
ОтветитьWash your rice people
Ответитьi would of added black and green olives too
ОтветитьMade this tonight. Tastes amazing. Kids loved it and I finished the remaining wine.
ОтветитьThere was no foil at the end :-)
ОтветитьI have now made this twice and mastered it, the family love it and well impressed! Thanks for sharing it
ОтветитьThanks I have mastered your Tuscan chicken so I am on to this now!!!!!
ОтветитьI’m addicted just adore this wonderful girl and her fab food
ОтветитьI made this last night and it was great! The grocery was out of chorizo and thighs so I did breasts and regular sausage. It was still good
ОтветитьI'll give it a go next week...
ОтветитьBakwas recipe
ОтветитьWould of been nice to see it on a plate at the end. Still got my like all the same.
ОтветитьCan used any kind of white rice?
ОтветитьUsed this recipe tonight and it was so nice. The chicken was so succulent and the flavours…wow!
ОтветитьCooked this last night. A winner!
ОтветитьWhere do I buy pot pan please?
ОтветитьGoing to serve this tomorrow for lunch - wish me luck 😁
ОтветитьI made this yesterday. It was delicious, and my picky eater teenage son has asked if we can have it every week!
