Well done mate. I’m 65 and have been overweight most of my life. I’m due to have the gastric sleeve early next year. I am currently 125kGs. I’ve just had my left ankle fused. My left knee last year was replaced. All this is to do with being overweight. Good luck on your journey. A well wisher from Western Australia.
ОтветитьI’m having this procedure on 11/21/2023
ОтветитьThe results are great only if they would last:( I lost 36 kilos in 2 years and gained 20 kilos after 3 years. Now after 10 years i got all my weight back altho i try to eat healthy food in general. I lost half of my hair i get vitamins etc all the time. They also told me i would never get diabetes but now i do . I wouldnt suggest this surgery only if it would be for emergency healthy reasons. Its not a surgery that you will do and get rid of your weight once for all. Its a surgery that will help you eat less and make you learn that you cant eat the amount of food you were eating before. If after a few years learn how to eat (as it happend to me) meaning more often but small portions you lost the game and you just get the weight back with all the problems of the surgery that occured.
ОтветитьWhere is he now
ОтветитьGo chris
ОтветитьCongratulations
ОтветитьI’m about to undergo gastric bypass surgery and I find this so encouraging! I’m so happy for Chris and I’m so excited to lose weight and get rid of my pain and the diabetes. I just want to be healthy again!
ОтветитьSo so so proud of you!
ОтветитьThis is something in considering. At the moment it's on the back burner but I've joined a weight loss group at my local hospital.
Ответить"Imagine doing something today, that you couldnt?" Well I cant eat a slice of pizza today, or two, or go out for drinks ( alcohol), and I could before surgery :( . My last pleasures in life are gone. To... Golf? That is not even a sport. That is a rich people thing. Blargh. I am so out of myself, 6 day post op, dreaming of food while living in a room all day and night, alone, and it will be like this for MONTHS.
ОтветитьDoing such a great job way to go ❤❤❤❤😊
ОтветитьVery encouraging. Saw a surgeon yesterday and will be having the procedure in a few months myself. Excited and nervous at the same time.
ОтветитьJust eat leed people!!
ОтветитьI just spoke to my doctor about this and waiting to speak and proceed I'm so excited!
ОтветитьJust a few hints. WHEAT makes you crave sugar. SUGAR is so bad for you. Artificial sugar is bad for you. Solution then is to not eat flour, wheat, cereals, pasta, rice. This will get rid of craving for sugar. Then don't eat any sugar at all. And certainly not artificial sweeteners. That is the key to loosing weight. And no processed foods! And no so called "vegetable" oils. Butter and clarified butter is excellent for you. Eat natural whole foods like meats, full cream milk, eggs, vegetables and fruits. Learn about keto as an example. Learn about fasting. Have a healthy day!
ОтветитьI got my surgery 9 month ago in Germany. Best decision of my life. I‘m really fine. Loosing my weight, playing golf is so much more fun now. I’m only 5 to 6 kilograms away from my target.
ОтветитьThat's great.
ОтветитьHypnosis could have helped change his thinking in regards to eating massive abouts of junk food.
ОтветитьI would like to see the follow-up after four years??
ОтветитьSo why not do everything he’s doing to lose except the surgery ? That’s stupid to modify your internal organs
ОтветитьWow!Incredible successful!❤
Ответитьjust got home from the hospital from having my bypass surgery. looking forward to the weightloss journey and proud of everyone that has gone through this as well ❤
ОтветитьI'm just starting my journey

Ответитьhad the surgery done at tufts. If you are considering getting this surgery, get it done at a teaching hospital. They have the highest success ratings.
If you are considering it, talk to you’re a doctor and those that have gone through it.
Those that are heavy and have done nothing about it are not particularly a good source of objective advice. In fact they seem to be a good source of friends who have friends who have friends that have horror stories.
The real horror story is That of Doing nothing.
TODAY MARCH 24 IM GOING TO SURGERY BYPASS IN VANCOUVER WA PEACEHEALTH HOSPITAL 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻ГОСПОДИ БЛАГОСЛОВИ И ПОМИЛУЙ МЕНЯ, БЛАГОСЛОВИ РУКИ ВРАЧЕЙ, ПОМОГИ МНЕ ПОЖАЛУЙСТА ВЫЖИТЬ🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
ОтветитьIs that op reversible?
ОтветитьI get my surgery on March 28th 2022 and this is the best video and inspiring out of all of the ones I have seen so far
ОтветитьStarting the process today. ❤️
ОтветитьWonderful
ОтветитьMy mom had gastric bypass in 2006 and basically ended up starving to death over the course of 15 years. She died this month. The last 3 years she could barely eat and lost half of her body weight after already being underweight. She was so weak and couldn't walk. The doctors just kept sending her home. Finally her blood pressure was so low she fell and broke her artificial shoulder. She died a week later from surgical complications. Bottom line, this is a nasty procedure and in my opinion should be banned. Yeah it feels good the first two years when weight comes off but beware, for the rest of your life you are slowly starving to death.
ОтветитьCan this be cover under your insurance?
ОтветитьWhat a amazing story, great work Chris
ОтветитьI didn't get surgery, but I am glad it is working for people.
ОтветитьMy weight is killing my knees
ОтветитьI'm scheduled for 8/9/21. I've done 6 + months of pre-op appointments and didn't think anything. Now I'm scared to death.
