ОтветитьMEMORIES
ОтветитьA great song sung by Rosemery cloony
ОтветитьI was born in 1957. How come I know all the words??
ОтветитьI always knew that she was gorge Clooney aunt and she's has a beautiful voice
ОтветитьEscuché esta canción en una versión en español por Enrique Guzmán cuando era adolescente, y pensé que ya la había escuchado antes en inglés, pero no recordaba cuando. Y esta versión en inglés es superior. Da gusto oírla. 😀
ОтветитьBeautiful song, and one which makes one think. The singer's voice is simply outstanding. The lyrics are nice and well pronounced, so it is easy to understand and the melody is sweet. 😄
ОтветитьHer voice reminds me of Toyah.
ОтветитьSeriously...how beautiful is this song?
ОтветитьDoes it go in your ass, and out your mother....I love this song. Especially when she gives advice like a Dutch uncle
ОтветитьBack in the 70s my parents had a 8 track player installed in our travel trailer so we could listen to music while vacationing. RCA had a collection of 40s & 50s music on 8 track tape which my folks used to listen too on our trips. This song was one of them. Gawd, what special memories this brings back to me, and how much I love and miss my mom and dad. This fond memory is priceless. Thank you so much!
ОтветитьI was 3 years old when this song was released, it was released in August 1954 ,all those wonderful hits of the 1950's

ОтветитьHey there,
You with the stars in your eyes
Love never made a fool of you,
You used to be too wise
Hey there,
You on that high-flying' cloud
Though he won't throw a crumb to you,
You think some day he'll come to you
You have better forget him,
Him with his nose in the air
He has you dancing' on a string,
Break it and he won't care
Won't you take this advice
I hand you like a mother
Or are you not seeing' things too clear
Are you too much in love to hear
Is it all going' in one ear
And out the other
You have better forget him,
Him with his nose in the air
He has you dancing' on a string,
Break it and he won't care
Won't you take this advice
I hand you like a mother
Or are you not seeing' things too clear
Are you too much in love to hear
Is it all going' in one ear
And out the other
❤️
ОтветитьA lovely song, from a lovely and talented singer. I remember when Rosemary Clooney was on "E.R.", and she was an Alzheimer's patient, wandering around the halls of the hospital--her nephew George was one of the stars of the show.😔
ОтветитьSo romantic she was ❤️
ОтветитьBefore my time, but I love it!
ОтветитьA big song from about Sept-Oct 1954.
ОтветитьI love this song!
ОтветитьI was born in 1954 ... it past already 65 years and still listening those beautiful songs with tears in my eyes ... love you Rosemary 05 June 2019
ОтветитьMy mother told me she played the song so much up in her room and was crying so much that her dad drove her a 100 miles to see her boyfriend she had broken up with
ОтветитьHappy Birthday Rosemary! Happy 90 years young! Nobody sings this song like you!
ОтветитьI love this so much. <3
ОтветитьThis song kept going thru my head. It was such a great song when I was a child. My Mom would watch the hit parade and there it would be.
ОтветитьI was crying in the car and this song came up. Just what I need it when you need a mother advice that lift you up.
ОтветитьCited as one of Brian Wilson's early influences -- this song. "She taught me to sing with love in my heart." [Murphy, "Becoming the Beach Boys," p.58].
Ответитьmost of you were not born yet this lady is famous;;
ОтветитьEvery time I say "Hey There", I reference this song. :)
ОтветитьBeautiful
