😂 but getting a truck licence or bus licence is not that easy

All those years later I look back in amazement at how this man passed a driving test that, for starters, did NOT involve having to reverse. That's unthinkable in countries and territories with more advanced driving standards than what appeared to back then exist in India.

I want to go back to this time and give driving test. I don't wanna give automatic driving test😢

H where iis the test

Driving test is easy but driving is damn difficult.
Because in india, we have to assume 2 things at all times.
1. Everyone is following every traffic rule.
2. No one is following any traffic rule

We don't know who is following and who isn't. So, we have to determine it by a unique language called 'Honking'. And to learn that, you need to actually drive on the Indian roads.

I got my license delivered to my home 13 years ago.

People usually go out in their cars to battle traffic much before they get their license. That is mostly because the license doesn’t really deem you fit for indian roads, it’s just a piece of document that helps avoid any unwanted fines.

Its the experience after getting license that teaches driving in India. And trust me driving in India is much harder then anywhere else.

The reason for such lax state then was british colonial legacy of corruption that got institutionalised in post colonial India. However lot has changed nowadays.

I got my licence 14 years ago,.. It was a proper test, took an H for car and 8 for bike,.. then a drive through highway with an officer, and he will examine your driving and make you pass,.. Iam from kerala, South Indian state,..
