Im post menopausal, and been having joint pain.. i purchased Boron glycinate.. i take 2mg in the morning and 2 mg at night with my magnesium.. i felt a difference the next day?!!! Am I right to assume that people that have estrogen-receptor positive breast cancer should not take boron? I took Letrozole, an aromatase inhibitor, to help get rid of estrogen. That's why my joints are killing me now. So i stopped it. We need good estrogen! I believe. ? Maybe it's only bad estrogen that is the culprit? My oncologist said all estrogen is bad for the cancer. I feel he's lying.

Question?? I get very sore, arthritic/ gout type pain in my knees when I eat soy (milk, tofu particularly) and if I eat a lot of other legumes although not as bad. I have noticed since been on the keto diet I have been getting the same knee joint pain after eating nuts regularly.

One thing I do not understand is that since cortisol is a stress hormone with many side effects (increases blood sugar, contributes to blood clotting, raises cravings, reduces melatonin etc) yet in this case what we are trying to achieve with boron is raise cortisol.
