I took 4 grams of mushrooms a few weeks ago. I reached level 2. The trip went from being absolutely perfectly phenomenal to being horrifying. For the first half I was in the woods appreciating the natural beauty, genuinely in tears because of how beautiful everything was, how much I take for granted, and how hard I am on myself. I felt like I made it, like everything was exactly where it was supposed to be. I have OCD so this was very new to me because during the trip I had no OCD symptoms. I started swimming around in my pool and eventually remember my heart dropping as my mind started to wonder in the wrong direction. I began freaking out as I had no idea who I was, what my life was, where I was, or if I was alive or dead. Everything hit me all at once. I ended up on the couch with my tripsitter crying begging him not to let me go as he was all I ever knew. I didn't even know I was in my house which I've lived in for 10 years. Horrifying experience. Eventually calmed down with big deep breaths and my loved ones sitting around me. I wouldn't say it was life changing but there were definitely things to learn from it. (I'm too hard on myself & should love myself more, I need to appreciate the present moment instead of looking forward or backward, I need to spend more time with my loved ones before they're gone)

I get pleasure from bad and terrifying experiences. I freak the absolute fuck out but crave it again when I come back to reality.

How do you build a strong mindset

3 tips to have the best experience: 1)Before taking any mushrooms you want your body to be as clean as possible from any other drugs or toxins. Junk in your bloodstream doesn't mix well with mushrooms and can cause you to have a bad trip 2) Try to avoid frozen or dried mushrooms. Fresh picked will deliver a better "MAGIC" factor. Boil into tea is good. 3) Liberty caps cubenzies have some nasty shit in them and are more likely to give a bad trip as compaed to blue ringer psilocybin are much cleaner and are more reliable for having and good --great--experience.

I always got to level 3 with mushrooms. I never had the laughs, probably because I always tripped by myself. I want to go to level 4 and 5 but only with a sitter. I did reach level 5 with sativa. It was horrifying but was over quickly. I can’t imagine 8 hours like that.

I ‘accidentally’ smoked a cone of Changa because I thought it was cannabis. I found it tucked away in my laptop case so added it to my bong of Skullcap. About 50-50. O-M-F-G 🤣✨ On my 2nd hit I knew it definitely wasn’t cannabis but went for a 3rd, maybe a 4th (I can’t remember) it was the most insane & beautiful experience I’ve ever had. Loads of fractals to start then I just shot through a tunnel of neon blue light where I was invited to dance with some ‘beings’. The love I felt from them & to them was overwhelming. I was seeing red stars everywhere. The rest I just can’t put into words. Just at one with everything. When I came round that feeling of happiness remained & stays with me to this day ❤. That’s when I took a keen interest in Buddhist philosophy & started meditating daily. It changed my life.

I'd love to have a conversation with you about my 1 and only trip. It was quite the 9 hours before the best sleep of my life.

As someone who ate 3 g of mushrooms in the last time ever, I can tell you wholeheartedly I know what it’s like to have a bad trip I don’t wish it on my worst enemies. I almost ruined my life I completely broke with reality. Don’t get me wrong. I have had wonderful psychedelic experiences, but the risk is not worth it. I have peace now and understanding.

I have never done any psychedelics. It scares me to think that I won’t be in control of what I’m thinking.

I have tripped maybe a handful of times indoors with glow rooms and tapestries with spiritual drum music which was awesome and I have tripped outside by a fire on a cool night in a wooded setting all incredible learning experiences and I have had a trip that was a little scary wasn’t sure at the time if I would ever come out of it but still taught me a valuable lesson and I’m looking forward to the next experience

I made it to lv4 on 3g of golden teacher, idk what i ate that made it feel so strong but i was absolutely terrified. I have never tripped that hard and i have taken higher doses than that...

High doses of psycadelics is so often filled with ego. Even the 'ego death' experiances are so often filled with the pride and self-satisfaction of the inflated ego, especially afterwards. It's mostly BS.

Had some Lemon Tek Last night, and just wanna say the way you describe these levels are pretty accurate, I think I was at maybe a 4-5 Had some insane visuals, open and closed out of body experiences where I thought AI was watching over us a simulation it was actually pretty indescribable. Like you mentioned "It's like drawing a stick figure when you're trying to replicate this 3D rendered masterpiece." 💯

I remember having a trip, where we were laying on the ground outside, and it was so clear at night, looking at the stars was the most amazing sight. Very humbling. Loved it.

Yes, I just recently had a level 4 experience with some elements of a level 5 experience from a 300ug acid trip. I had the feeling you describe of being here before, it felt like this was where I was before birth and after death. The way I rationalise is it: At that moment when I was peaking on the acid, my thoughts completely disappeared. My senses were no longer experienced as just senses, but there was a clear experiencer of those senses, that was beyond the senses, and that experiencer was my true identity. In such a state without thoughts and only feeling my senses as natural and instinctual, my actions were just reactions from past karma. I saw this as the illusion of my identity. In such a state there is no difference from what I experienced in terms of natural instincts, and what a human from a million years ago would experience. No thoughts, no memory, no identity. This was a complete connection with my ancestry and thus a feeling of having been here for eternity. – Truly a profound experience.

I ate 2 tiny ass mushrooms that weren’t even .5 gram at a music festival this past weekend and had the most insane, horrifying trip that I somehow managed to keep my composure through. I’ve eaten 3.5 grams at once before but it wasn’t as bad aa this. Crazy how mushrooms work

My last trip was literally unreal i cant explain it properly but basically i experienced a real bad time loop trip where i felt like a worm going in and out of a rotten apple and all i truly remember from that night is telling my self i was at the mercy of god and it starts when it ends and ends where it starts and i stripped off my cloths laid in the middle of my kitchen butt ass naked curled up in the fetal position than i somehow woke up in my bed

If you had 2g of psilo & then 4g 24 hours later, would the 4g be no more effective than the 2g due to tolerance?

I had one of those “bad trips” on Triple C’s 22 years ago. I was in a horrible set and setting. I was in an old tenant farmer house on an old farm and The only other people in the house were tripping too. It felt like I was in a rob zombie movie. I had a complete psychotic break in the moment. I was absolutely convinced i was overdosing and dieing. Worst and at the same time most profound experience of my life. I couldn’t even smoke weed for 5 years after it as I would go into flashbacks and massive anxiety attacks. I’m glad people are talking more about these substances and exercising and promoting caution. I was a 18 year old kid in a really rough place in life, I had no business f’ing around with this stuff at tue time.

...You ever hit a level 6? 🤣 Let me explain;

I've been an avid hunter of psilocybe cyanescens for over 2 decades now (I live in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S.). When I was younger, I would eat them very, very irresponsibly. One time I ate a very large amount of dried cyanescens, and sat at my computer with headphones on, listening to music. All I remember was everything going White, I had no more vision. I don't remember anything that happened beyond that point, but my mom found me at my computer, hanging over the edge of the desk drooling 🤣 so basically level 6 is a blackout (or whiteout I suppose), and it was a total waste of mushrooms. Also, anytime I would eat those high doses, I would get what they call woodlovers paralysis. Coming down off the mushrooms, for about 12 hours, half my face would go numb, to the point I couldn't even drink water because it would just pour out of my mouth. It's really weird, but so far they haven't found it to be harmful. Just kind of scary when it happens haha, kinda resembled the facial features of a stroke. I don't eat them irresponsibly like that anymore, i just go on an introspective journey once a year or so. Still fascinated by mycology though and love the hunt. 🙂
