I just know that kids attitude ain't gonna fly in prison. Those inmates don't like women and child killers at all and his attitude is ripe for some shower fun.

I must say that the recommendation given by the church counselor to seek actual professional help is quite impressive. My experience with people who identify as counselors because of a religious affiliation tend to resist professional mental health care.

What a sweet thing for the judge to praise David and Jamie for being there. That can’t have been easy, they’re both immeasurably strong. I hope they’re both doing well.

I have watched videos on all four of these kids, detailing their crimes and how eventually they rolled on each other. Of the four, only Christopher Gribble really impressed me with his personality and his candid, emotionless demeanor. I had a feeling that the diminutive, Billy Marks, would be the weak link in the Disciples of Destruction. He and Quinton Glover did not participate in the actual carnage against the mother and daughter, but neither did they attempt to prevent it. Steven Spader, the alleged leader and most sociopathically deranged, really didn't impress me at all. He's just looney toons (in a very, very bad way). He's your textbook antisocial personality disorder and a made sociopath. As I said, Christopher Gribble made the biggest and only real impression on me. He would be my choice for a case study. The kid is very personable, intelligent, and strikingly cunning. He could easily have been the leader of the group, but he just had no interest in that role. In my opinion, he is a true psychopath. He is not conflicted about who or what he is and I think he is just as curious about [him] as we are. I listened to his testimony and he is neither evasive nor minimizing. The truth is what it is, no more, no less. I did catch moments where he appeared to relish reactions from those in the courtroom. And his murder conviction is guilt by association. Yes, he attempted to kill the little girl, but he failed. Steven murdered the mother with a machete. Christopher didn't kill anyone, but he was almost embarrassed that he didn't. Steven enjoyed brutality, in fact, he got a near-orgasmic rush from it. Christopher wasn't into the whole messy murder thing, he would have been satisfied with a gun and a quick kill. Christopher has no emotions, he's a blank sheet on feelings. When he remarked on the stand that those people in the jail had no idea who they were messing with, take his word on that. That guy will kill you and not bat an eye! And he will do it with careful planning and maximum efficiency. He won't want to hear you scream, but he would listen to you gurgle until your pupils dilate...

People in our society are amazing...........a kid threatens to kill his parents and the Therapist doesn't bother to tell the parents????

This hit home because momma said to her its going to be alright and was most definitely trying to say i love you. My situation is not comparable to this horror that happened to these two, not in any way whatsoever, but i have been in a desperate and helpless places before and know that even if she wasn't able to speak, that she was pleading with god in her last moments to make sure her knew she loved her and shes just so sorry. Ive watched alot of things over my 39 year ls and ive never said this until now, this is the worst case ive ever heard of, because i could relate to really knowing that youre life is going to end in the next moment and believe it, and the thing i would instantly think of was jesus please be with my son, please tell him goodbye and im just so so so sorry. Im so blessed to be here to tell my son i love him, and i thank Jesus Christ alone. This is one i really wish i hadn't watched, nothing has ever effected me like this. God i pray you stay with this beautiful young lady for all of her days on this earth, i pray that she knows always just how much her momma loves her even still, God i do believe that when you have a love like the love of a momma that, that love doent die with that person, god i know you allow that energy that will transcend from heaven. In jusus name. Amen.

The fact that the mother can remember the wooden spoon and the details that she put the spoon away to punish herself as a way to deter her from ever acting like that again in my opinion lends Credence to her position

God how horrific, my thoughts and prayers to the daughter and father I hope they all get what they have coming to them in prison

The part where the prosecutor went over and stared at Spader while he asked the pathologist questions was eerie.

I hope that in what ever prison they are in, the inmates find out what they did and that they live the rest of their lives in terror and misery.

The pseudo intellectual posturing of the creep with the lousy haircut, Gribble, would be ironic if we were not talking about such a horrific crime.

If I had the authority I would have Gribble and Spader sent for government experimentation. Then the 2 that went and watched should minimally be put hung high up in a tree. The last guy that heard of the acts then didn’t turn them in should get life in prison. These types of crimes need such extreme punishment that it will really make a psychopath think before acting.

Again returning to this masterpiece. Gribbles is a case study in the dangers of Christian Counselling. ‘Risk to self or others’. There’s zero reason he shouldn’t have been forcibly admitted to a psychiatric facility upon expressing his homicidal desires- if for no other reason than for a comprehensive forensic assessment.

I wonder if the Cates family ever sued the psychiatrist, for not acting within his remit & legal obligations. The Cates family is a force of strength.

Gribbles chose a sleeping nurse & her 10 year old daughter to take a machete to, in the middle of the night, of their own home.

The most dangerous, cunning man- survived and fooled by a ten year old, sleeping little girl.

‘She’s just a little girl, she’s like, 10’. Indeed, Gribbles. Ya Grub.

That fact will haunt Gribbles in every corner of his vacuous expanse of mind, for the rest of his sad, natural, pitiful life. Young Jamie exacted the greatest punishment this man could ever receive.

I was in prison with these sickos, I was on the tier with gribble in shu for like a week waiting to go to hole.. I gave that dude such a hard time, he's a pussy.. this dude is a joke, he's a coward in prison and he gets beat up a lot. He's in like super PC. no words would be strong enough, how to describe this unspeakable cruelty? how to justify the unjustifiable? as Madame le Juge said, infinity is not enough! it is here that I support the death penalty, it is at this moment that I am not against because it is unthinkable unacceptable who can continue to live or to smile! life was offered to us, it was given to us as a gift! but the despicable monsters who committed this act no longer have the right to life, they no longer have the right to benefit from it, the only right they have is to take back their life that they received when they were born !!!!!
