No sentence will ever take away the pain, devastion, or the trauma and suffering that she caused David, everyone who loves Michael and Alex, or the community and people all around the world whose hearts have been shattered by Susan Smith's Selfish and evil decisions to get rid of her innocent, precious, beautiful baby boys in such a cruel, heinous and evil manner because she wanted to be her boyfriend who wrote Susan a letter saying he didn't want children and a week after Susan received that letter, she put Michael and Alex into their car seats in the back seat of her car with her wedding dress and her wedding photo album and she watched her car as it rolled down the hill and into the lake with her boys trapped inside..

At any moment, Susan could have changed her mind, she could have given custody to David who gladly would have kept his baby boys, but as if it wasn't bad enough that Susan had already betrayed David by having an affair, she then wanted to inflict more pain on him by forever shattering his heart and leaving voids in his heart from the senseless and tragic loss of Michael and Alex.
