How to grow Java moss Basics

Anyone looking to grow java moss carpet? 😄

optimal temperature is between 65 and 80°F. lighting is not needed as it can grow with simply ambient lighting. adding fertilizers will encourage algae growth. -some of what you said does not align with my success with my Native java moss here in USA

I originally had java moss Growing on a screen on the back of the aquarium so the back was a wall of java moss. But it decided the back was not enough and has turned into a nuisance. It grows everywhere and sticks to the gravel, making it pretty much impossible to get rid of without redoing the entire aquarium.

I have killed all my java moss I had ever. It does not grow in any of my tanks. I have all the conditions listed here. Even algae doesn't grow.

Hi I have these in my tank. It grew well for a while but for some reason it suddenly thinned out and some turned black. I don't know what to do since some of plants are growing nicely I have Co2 and I dose ferts every other day. I hope you can help me out even though it is pretty late. Thank You.
