BH got home at like 2am. Which local news station would be on at 2am reporting on something going on in the city of Canton? He wasn’t watching the news for something related to the murder. He was either referring to something like CNN or he simply fabricated the story.

Is 34 Fairview a split level house? I do find it a bit confusing to accurately describe what is what level wise. But, yes, Mr Higgins may know the truth, but they are not close friends.

This case has been ongoing since 2014, and there have been many trials, with the next one in September 2024. The question regarding the ex-spouses involvement remains unanswered. Any chance of an analysis of judge Bev ‘s comments to the defense? Her pretrial comments were astonishing as was the way she spoke to the defense re jury instructions. She received a note from the jury that seems to end unusually abruptly, declared a mistrial and practically bolted out of the courtroom. I think there’s a reason we feel something is wrong with her behavior

Could you do a breakdown of Robert Telles' testimony/cross-examination in his trial? He's a weird dude with a bit of a weird way of speaking, but he sounded pretty truthful in his narrative testimony (where he just got to tell his story without the attorney asking any questions). On cross-examination, he definitely stumbled around various words, but still didn't strike me as being particularly untruthful, as opposed to just having a lot of sensitivity around various topics. It would be cool if you could can analyze it to see if there are other ways to tell if he's making something up - or if you agree with me that he seemed pretty truthful.

Telles was a government probate administrator who allegedly killed a journalist who had published some negative stories about him (and who had obtained footage of him hooking up with a subordinate in the back of her vehicle, so he was cheating on his wife). I'm pretty sure he did it - his testimony was that this was a big frame job (like Karen Read's case) wherein the police and/or this other realty company colluded to plant a whole bunch of evidence against him: on his phone, in his house, his DNA was found under the victim's fingernails, etc.

He mentioned that he had caught this realty company scamming a bunch of families out of $6 million by purposely removing valuables from a decedent's estate, then getting the estate appraised at a lower value, then purchasing the property themselves and turning around to sell it at a higher value. It seems like Telles was being truthful about that because there were apparently some lawsuits brought by a couple of the families. He said that he had recently been given the power (by the courts) to look deeper into this company's dealings, just a few days prior to the journalist's death. So he's saying that the realty company (possibly with help from the police) had this journalist killed just to frame him and stop him from being able to look more into them.

I'm still pretty sure he's guilty due to the sheer amount of evidence that he claims was planted, but then again, I think Karen Read's innocent based on the fact that a bunch of evidence was planted in her case... however, in Read's case there have been a lot of shenanigans on the part of the police/witnesses, which we don't really see in Telles' case, so I have less reason to think it's a possibility that all this stuff could've been planted by at least 1-2 different people, and I fail to see what real motive they would've had (unless they thought Telles was about to discover like 10s of millions of dollars more that was stolen from different families, which I guess is possible).

Sergio, can you do Brian Albert? Also, it would be interesting for you to breakdown Robert Telles' bizarre testimony.

Higgins had to have a couple more drinks when he got home to calm his nerves from what happened!! I imagine a beat down and not knowing where Karen went was a buzz kill!

I believe Brian left to go see where Karen went!! That's why Alan Jackson suggested that he went to the police station. To make sure Karen hadn't heard what happened and had left to report it. I'm sure they freaked out when she left!

There were TWO PEOPLE who destroyed their phones... that speaks volumes about who had the most to hide!

I love you review but lets not forget that a whisteleblwer who was q close personal friend of Brian ALBERTS, told Yanetti 2 days after the incident that Brian Alberts was the one who killed John because he is a trained MMA fighter known to challenge other cops when he was drunk. He refused to testify under oath but was found very credible. I believe Higgins couldn't take John on his own that Alberts had to be a part of the takedown and his dog jumped in because john probably got in a good lick to Alberts so Chloe jumped in and thats the cause of the dog bites. No way was Higgins worried that Brian Alberts would call this in, NO WAY! Even if Alberts wasn't involved it was at his house and the corruption runs so deep in Massachusetts police especially canton that not only is it a given that they protect their own but they all have stuff on eachother and if one rats they'll all go down. So you saying over and over that Higgins was monitoring to make sure Alberts didn't vall it in sounds insane to me. Yes absolutely Highins was monitoring the airwaves but in no way was he worried about Alberts calling! He was monitoring to see anything that might have gotten out by anyone else there and especially after they decided to drop him in the snow.

I'd love to see you analyze Karen Read- I've seen body language people characterizing her as genuine etc and I'm very interested in her word choices because they seem very specific and direct to me. She's not afraid to answer a question head on and doesn't dance around direct questions, in my opinion.
