Michael Anthony is one of the greatest backing vocalist of all time!
ОтветитьI love seeing black people celebrating white people
They get a blessing when they do!!!!!
5⭐ greatest time 80"s
ОтветитьLove watching people react to this outtro. They just take off. You gotta listen closely to the fade.
ОтветитьEddie Van Halen is highly regarded for his lead guitar, but this song really showcases his talents at filling up songs with his rhythm guitar work too. The GOAT.
Ответитьtell you what...No one did boogie and swing better than Ed. amazing player in all aspects.
ОтветитьThis album is van halens master class
It doesn't get any better ❤
I saw Van Halen in 1981...blew me away. Best concert I ever attended ❤...Dave the Showman
ОтветитьFabulous, classic VH with DLR at the mic - great early Van Halen rock - funk! Just came across your channel, you guys are so cute! Oh, love all the KISS stuff in the background.
Ответитьwatching black people listening to van halen brings me true joy!
Ответитьbillys bragging rights

Eddie’s rhythm playing is amazing
ОтветитьGreatest opening riff in rock history.
ОтветитьSo many beautiful transitions and step downs. Probably my fave VH song.
ОтветитьIts the dont take life to serious BAND!!!!😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьI'm very honored to have an autograph Frankenstein guitar 1997 I was talking to a friend of mine who agreed with me..man at the beginning of it all we were there. The birth of heavy metal. Punk rock the British invasion. I'm happy to say we were in high school during the explosion of music. It was an amazing time to be alive and young 🎉the 80s people today play ower music and love it it was ahead of its time. Just like van Halen 🎉
ОтветитьEddie Van Halen was very creative that took the guitar sound and playing to a whole new level that was and still is electrifying energy to say the least. RIP and every music loving and musician will miss you regardless of your ups and downs in your life.
ОтветитьWelcome to Van Halen ! :)
ОтветитьThat bass line though😊
ОтветитьOf course they dig it. It's real talent with no auto tune or mumble rap
ОтветитьOnly complaint I have with this song is the fadeout at the end shouldn't have happened, I want to hear the whole solo! It goes on for a while in it's entirety. Eddie was playing out of his mind on that track
ОтветитьEDDIE VAN HALEN, MY/OUR "GUITAR GOD," CREATED AAAAALL the new guitarists we listen to in Rock today... And, the fact is that HE ACTUALLY STARTED ON DRUMS (and, his brother, Alex, actually started on guitar, but they switched instrumnets WHEN THEY WERE JUST YOUNG BOYS BORN AND LIVING IN HOLLAND before coming to America with their parents who were also musicians, well, their Dad was), and after Eddie took piano lessons, BUT EDDIE NEVER TOOK A GUITAR LESSON, just goes to show this GREAT Man's "god-like" musical prowess, ingenuity, and creativity... As well as the fact that TAKING LESSONS can sometimes keep you "IN THE BOX," as he had said in an interview on YT, WHERE EDDIE ALWAYS THOUGHT, CREATED, AND PLAYED "OUTSIDE THE BOX" JUST BECAUSE he never took a lesson... That ability to not be "grounded" by "normal" guitar-playing techniques and styles is what made him do the AMAZING things he did, musically, as well as to experiment, and "remake" numerous guitars, amplifiers, and "effects" that made his famous "Brown sound" as well as his style of playing, nearly impossible to duplicate, tho, many have tried... lol (Oh, and, btw, Eddie not only did the solo on Michael Jackson's "Beat It" song, but he TOTALLY REARRANGED THE ENTIRE TRACK from what it was to what it IS TODAY, AND HE WANTED NO MONEY OR CREDIT ON THE ALBUM for it, THAT'S GREATNESS!!!) RIP EDDIE VAN HALEN😔 (You've been, and always will be, missed)... Thank you, sir... 🙏🏾😔🔥🎸😇

ОтветитьOh, Tash...❤
ОтветитьWhat more can anyone say about Van Halen, just an unbelievable band. They've been rockin me since 1983.
ОтветитьLOVE Mean Street, Van Halen forever.
ОтветитьMy High school fav along with Deep Purple, Pino Floyd, Led Zeppelin etc etc
ОтветитьThere really is no comparison. Dave couldn’t strut around with that bravado if he didn’t have a fucking amazing musician without Ed.
Then again Ed could have probably written great songs with any band BUT DLR tapped into some of the funky aspects of Ed’s brilliance as well as the hard rock pieces.
Also I think the shortened studio time and limited budgets let their rawness shine through and we all loved it 😊 😊😊
This is such a devastating riff, beat, and song. I would put this up against anything.
ОтветитьThe best Van Halen song w/ DLR
ОтветитьThat "lightning strike" has been getting me for years.
ОтветитьVan Halen with Roth was a wild animal. Van Halen with Sammy was a wild animal born in captivity
ОтветитьDark…loved it…
ОтветитьMy favorite Diamond Dave era album. Those riffs were filthy.
Ответитьnobody played like Eddie
ОтветитьI love the solo in so this is love. One of my faves.
ОтветитьYou don’t get talent like this anymore.
ОтветитьI got pulled over for speeding the other day the cop asked why i was going 50 in a 35 i simply said van halen is on the radio he wasnt impressed!😅
ОтветитьFrom 1977 to 1984, Van Halen ruled the rock world. DLR was the best singer for VH as shown on this track and many others.
ОтветитьThe cute chick rocking to Mean Street is sexy.
ОтветитьOne of the greatest if not the greatest VH album ever.
ОтветитьEnough said this is rock gold great reactions
ОтветитьThank you for not having a chit chat before playing the song
ОтветитьNo effects on the guitar. Just talent.
ОтветитьVan Hagar? No thanks
ОтветитьIs this Eddie on the guitar??? Probably the funniest thing I've heard today.
ОтветитьWhen the bass drops in during the intro...
ОтветитьFair warning is Van Halen at its peak if you ask other bands musicians critics I promise they will say 1981 was Van Halen. I’m still waiting for that hidden footage from Oakland comes out. I want to see the entire concert. There’s been mixed results if it was recorded or not including Dave Alex Michael and I even think Ed said that in an interview before his passing. I think Ted Templeman probably has it there engineer
ОтветитьThe best G chord in the history of Rock.
Ответить
