I've never watched a movie, series, anime, read a book or played another videogame that made me focus so much on the ending that i was literally drooling, my jaw was on the floor, and that was before the post credit scene, when that happened i was catatonic, I was staring at my monitor with my mind at 200% unraveling and feeling every kind of emotion for like half an hour, and the last one who remained, was pure joy, I never felt that way before, this game is a masterpiece in storytelling, and that's the understatement of the millennium, holy fuck how do I regret not buying a headset to experience this magnificent piece of art first hand, but with that hl3 tease, i will go in debt just to play it on the first day if i have to

Half Life 2 opening: Gman wakes up Gordon. Half life 3 opening : Eli wakes up Gordon. it seems like they put in the beginning cutscene for the future game here so that we don’t end on another cliffhanger for a while.

Yeah all i got from this is that the gman went back in time and indirectly set the story for a new hl installment
