Helen, I have been trying to work on this recipe since Friday. I didn't want to buy beer Friday, so I used coconut milk and sparkling water. It was good but major fail because it did not make a crepe. I ate it anyway. This time, I followed your recipe to the letter. (I bought a 12-pack of beer which I will share with my husband.) However, it did not make a crepe, and the batter was very runny. I ate it, but it was not right. Please help.

Question for you Helen. Is it okay to put tiny pieces of chicken breast instead of pork for Banh Xeo filling? Just curious to find out whether it works or not. Thxs for sharing yummy recipes videos that make me hungry all of the sudden. Hahaha 😂😂😂

This is probably not the best recipe, but this recipe is the simplest and easiest to make the crepes. I am following it because I like the simplicity!

Chị Helen nè. C cho hơi nhiều bia như vậy bánh xèo ăn vô mùi bia hăng lắm. Chỉ cho nữa chén bia thôi c nhé. Còn c muốn bánh xèo ngon thật ngon để e chỉ cho. C chỉ dùng nước lọc có gas ( k phải nc ngọt có gas) như vậy bánh xèo giòn ngon. Còn công thức bánh xèo vừa béo vừa giòn là 1 nửa nc lọc có gas và 1 nửa nc cốt dừa, k dùng bia. Bánh xèo se giòn ngon còn c cho quá nhjeu bia bánh sẽ bị ra mùi bia bánh xèo. Mấy bạn nào k tin thì cứ làm theo chị Helen xem thử bánh xèo có thành bánh xèo bia k nhé.

Love your videos and love bánh xèo. My friend taught me how to make it. She adds fresh shredded coconut to meat. I haven't really seen that in any videos. Is that not a very common Vietnamese thing to do?
