- which keepsake do i choose for run everytime ?

- If I am unable to get a certain boon from a certain god, how do I do so? I realised that sometimes I am unable to get a specific boon, even if I chose that greek god’s door via their symbol. Is there a 100% chance to get via some ways?

Chiron is imo the best weapon in the game. It can melt enemies in seconds, and is usable right from the get go all the way to the end. I love it more than even merciful end fist

How can i open the slots for using more than one keep sake?

The bow where you can load casts is super powerful. Load 3 casts and focus on buffing attack and cast. You'll melt everything

None of these are beginner friendly at all. They require way too much titans blood, and by the time you get enough to upgrade your weapons, you would have not been a beginner for quite some time.

Literally the most beginner friendly build is the Merciful End duo on the Zag sword. For 5 titans blood you can max the weapon, and it isn't even necessary at all. It's sometimes a bit of a struggle to get the duo boon to show up, but once you do, consider your run a success.
All you need (optimally) is Athena special and Ares attack. That combination will give you the chance of the merciful end duo boon showing up. The important part here is to leave your dash open until you get this far (unless you get Athena twice before you get the duo boon) because now you want to get Athena's dash. What that will do is let you apply Ares doom on your attacks, and your dash will pop it for instant burst damage. You can literally just attack and dash carelessly all over the place and melt your opponents.

I don't know why you didn't have this on the list despite it not being ranged, because it's easily the most overpowered duo boon in the game, and it's well known to non beginners. The safety that a ranged build can provide doesn't mean shit if you can just kill everyone before they can hurt you.

Anyone else a stubborn defiance fan? I tend to make mistakes and get killed once or twice during my runs, so i like the guaranteed extra life any time im fighting a boss, im just able to more consistently beat the game that way.

What the heck it that tapping noise, so distracting

Damage over time (DOT) builds are also incredibly effective for every weapon minus the sword and spear, depending on what aspects you take. Dionysis is the easiest to set up, and arguably the best DOT, as Hangover has great compatibility with Weakness and a lot of great boons that increase DOT a LOT when you get a combination of then going.

Aphro/Dion is pretty classic at this point. You want your weapons slower attack (or dash) to set up Weakness, and then the faster attack to apply Hangover. They are both 'curses', so two boons can instantly give you privileged status. This increased damage is GLOBAL, with very few exceptions, and this includes DOT.

Aphrodite boons to keep an eye out for are Empty Inside, Sweet Surrender, Broken Resolve, Unhealthy Fixation, Wave of Despair (if melee, you're probably going to get hit), and Dying Lament. You can also pick up some really good defensive boons like Different League, Life Affirmation, and Broken Resolve.

Dionysis boons to look out for are Bad Influence, Peer Pressure, and if you're doing a ranged build (or are playing with Forced Overtime on), Numbing Sensation is really good. He also has boons that make it easier to stay alive, and those are After Party, Positive Outlook, and the earlier you get it the better, Strong Drink. This boon is just peachy.

The duo Boon you're looking out for is Low Tolerance. Think of getting this boon as a flat +60% damage modifier, as you normally can only get 5 stacks of Hangover, and this allows you to have a max of 8. It's a pretty big deal.

If you're using fists and put Aphrodite on the dash, Dionysis on the attack, and whatever you want on the special and cast (there are a couple really good synergy boons from Dionysis for Festive Fog, one that makes enemies take more damage, and one that makes you take less while in the fog, but it's completely unnecessary), and just zoom around punching the daylights out of everything, watching them all die while all you did was twirl your analog stick and mash dash and attack and drooling all over your favorite onezie.

So far Out of the 98 attempts at beating Hades, I’ve succeeded 81 times. You kind of get used to how you implement the builds to each weapon. Also, you don’t always get the lucky with each build though, that explains the number of times I’ve died during my runs, I realize my mistakes of the boons I pick then BAM! That’s it lol, I just give up and try again. Good game.

For your first build on the bow what dash and cast do you use

I DON'T recommend Flurry Shot as a hammer for Chiron. You may mark enemies faster, but you lose the ability to pivot while charging and aiming your shot. It messes up with the rhythm of aiming with attack then spamming special.

why do you use the darkness healing over the chamber healing? i feel like i see so little darkness in high heat runs

I'm back with my silly questions. What boon gives those green homing arrows when you attack? It was in the Aspect of Demeter build.

I recommend beginners wear the Athena charm & try to get Athena's dash ASAP in their runs, bc that's the easiest way to learn to play the game if you haven't yet beaten Hades. In addition to the builds recommended here, I'd suggest Eris Aspect for the Rail, since it's cheap & gives a huge boost to all your damage as long as you're using your Special rocket often. Plus, combining it with hammers like cluster bomb, triple bomb, etc. means that you're just dealing crazy damage

Before watching your video I was running the Chaos Shield but with the Ares boon in the special (not Zeus boon).
When I tried with the Zeus boon in the special it felt less OP and much more reliable on optimization...
Most pro players will go down the same build path as you mention so I don't get why it's not working for me as well...

I have 4 Titans Blood and it hasn't given me the option to unlock any of these aspects. Do I have to beat Hades or something?

Your jokes in the video are pretty good and I enjoyed the video. I don't own the game so I don't understand some aspects but I plan on buying it in the near future.

I don’t understand your hammer choices honestly. When talking about aspect of chaos, you never mentioned ferocious guard that gives you a 20% damage and move speed buff for ten seconds after blocking just one attack. Also when talking about aspect of Demeter, you put a ranged special over flying cutter? Flying cutter gives you great range/AOE with TRIPLE damage.
Another thing, you can hardly consider these “beginner builds” if all three weapons you use are weapons that don’t reach their actual potential when they’re maxed out. My recommendation for “beginner builds” would be using one point wonder weapons, such as Hera bow, Talos gloves, or Poseidon sword(which scales better with more Titan bloods but you can still utilize the base effect without the extra cast damage). You have a well made video, but I find your content would be misleading for an actual new player.

After close to 300 runs, I would say my best advice would be to focus in one or two areas, such as Attack/Dash or Special/Attack. If you try to fill out and use every ability, you are just going to end up with many weak abilities instead of a couple really powerful ones. Also avoid the trap of feeling like you HAVE to take a purple or legendary boon, just because it's offered. Many times you are better off with a common boon which will help your build than a legendary boon that only affects cast, when you rarely or never even use casts.

I don't know why some of the comments are down on this video. It has a ton of good content. I had all the non-hidden aspects unlocked, and all of the mirror stuff available long before I had my first clear. And even then, getting your first clear doesn't mean you aren't a beginner. You need multiple clears to see the true ending and the epilogue.

One question though, why fated authority? I always run persuasion and get huge benefits on almost ever run. I never seem to get anything out of authority. I'm probably using it "wrong", but I'd appreciate insight on how to make effective use of it.

How many hours are considered as "beginner"? Looking at the amount of unlocks on mirror and aspects here..don't think a beginner has those....
