Where is the part where shes dissapointed in u?
ОтветитьShibuya kaho. You do have family and that's all of your viewers. We got your back girl
Ответить"Turn out my family is bunch of weeb"
Not a sentece you hear everyday, and also can make a great LN title😂
So kaho used to do jav? Gonna need to do some research to verify 🥸
ОтветитьCdawgva > Connan
ОтветитьLoving the DDLC shirt.
ОтветитьMy mother died during a time when I was becoming an adult, but hadn’t quite reqched the stage where we’d open up to each other yet.
Much later I gained a fantastic stepmom and my half sister (20 years older than me) also stands in a little.
I can’t express how absolutely vital this is for me to function emotionally and feel human.
The caregiving and consideration that women are naturals at is criminally downplayed today, it’s heartbreaking that so many are pressured to or think they need to compete in jobs when where they’re most needed and appreciated is for the warmth and love they give onto others.
Japan really does have everything! So amazing haha I could have used a rental family at my wedding when my actual ones didnt show up. That would have been a better experience ❤
Ответитьanyone else thinking cdwag as a anime would be epic
ОтветитьThe sister kinda looks like Takahashi Rie
ОтветитьI think it's all fun and games until people that are desperate for company start getting into debt to be able to afford it, in a way it is kind of predatory to take advantage of desperate and lonely people but on the other hand it gives these people some much needed human contact so its hard to judge.
ОтветитьAll the lonely people
ОтветитьImagine your dad leaves you one day and then you mom hires a new dad but runs out of money so he leaves you too.
ОтветитьThis would be significantly less creepy if they just said "hire" instead of "rent."
Ответитьthe office is exactly the same as when conan visited it
ОтветитьThe way kaho said she doesnt get along well with her family was kinda sad to hear even tho she was joking
ОтветитьConnor’s family is watching this like that DW meme where she’s clinging to the fence with glasses 🤣🤣
ОтветитьKaho was smacking down that food the whole time. Got to feed them heavies.
ОтветитьIt's like emotional prostitution
ОтветитьLook up Irish wailers. They are hired to cry at funerals so I suppose it makes others more comfortable to cry as well? Dunno. It's not a thing entirely unique to Japanese.
ОтветитьWhat an odd man
Ответитьcan we just agree that it is totally f*ed up to RENT a father for your kids??
ОтветитьHe was feature in conan o brien ( or this business)and it was kinda cute, but goddamn you can actually rent a whole family for 3 years and can be extended depending on the rented family
ОтветитьFlying poop.
ОтветитьThis is a great video. Asian cultures in general, but especially Japan has been shown as "weird and strange" in western countries and it affects a lot buillying of asian minorities in western world.
ОтветитьYou should hire a mom from one company and introduce her to your rental gf from another one lmao
Ответитьthis made me think of the manga P.A by Akaishi Michiyo
ОтветитьDid she smack you with a fan/flip-flop? If not, it is not complete.
ОтветитьKAHO BECAME UR FREIND I CAN SEE THAT AFTER THE PODCAST
Ответитьu should try to rent a big family
ОтветитьThat rental sister was definitely feeling Conner lol
ОтветитьI would be hysterically balling the entire time from unhealed maternal trauma. The mom's last story is so relatable for me, that would be my reason for renting. They are so sweet and are good at their jobs
ОтветитьOk but the dokie dokie hoodie is killing me
Ответитьoh wow
ОтветитьIt’s a interesting thing, the idea of renting a family. I imagine that there are a plethora of situations where having this could be really good. Imagine graduating university, but your family is in a different country, having someone there to support you, hearing “I’m proud of you”, might make all the difference
ОтветитьI would love this, i never felt mother's love before. She always calls me a slut when its just my bestfriend who's always there for me. She will always say that im almost the same as my father. Maybe this could help me. I dont have money yet but im saving up for this rent a mother so i can feel mother's love.
ОтветитьReally interesting stuff, definitely some ethical questions, but I can also see the uses. Like the mom was saying about going to a movie with an old guy who's wife had passed, I can see where it could be helpful for people.
ОтветитьAs someone who grew up being abused, I really empathised with that story about the woman who never had "normal" experiences with her mother. Thanks for doing research on this topic, dude!
ОтветитьThis’d be way too dangerous in the US. Especially the apology services. Maybe it could work elsewhere though, as long as it could cope with the legal issues.
Ответитьi absolutely LOVE this channel and these videos. getting the bts of all of these super unique jobs and businesses is amazing
ОтветитьI have very few family left and they live on the other side of the country. So the idea of having a "mom" figure around if I got sick or lonely seems like a great idea! Ya, you have to pay but I would sell my kidney to have someone make soup for me and ensure I'm comfortable, even for a little bit. <3
Ответитьmy wifes japanese, and her mum passed away when she was a kid, so i asked her father if it would be alright to rent a mum for her wedding, my wife was in tears on the day, she was so moved by it that the first 2 days of our honeymoon she was crying by how touching of thought it was to rent a mum for her wedding
ОтветитьVideo idea
I tried drawing manga
Imagine a country where a school refuses to enrol a child because they are being raised by a single parent, and that the best solution to this egregious bit of overt and arbitrary discrimination isn't to call it out or try to change attitudes, but is instead apparently to hire a man to pretend to be the missing parent so the school and community can play a grown-up game of make-believe.
Sometimes I want to grab Japan by the shoulders and shake the country vigorously, whilst saying "WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS?" at an embarrassing volume and weeping large manly tears.
