All of this was so unnecessary. Visaryes was the cause and Rhynera the catalyst. If he wanted Rhy to be queen. She should have been trained like any heir. Educated, combat, strategy etc. She shouldn't have been treated like a spoiled girl. She should have had the expectations put upon her like any male heir. This includes progeny. The books were more accurate in the subtle suspicions of her elder kids. But, she had 2 legit Targaryen children. That should have ended this all b4 it started. Visarys should have made his younger children lords over lands without heirs or carved out lordship for them.

Literally the epitome of a tit for tat war.

So in the tv show its shows alicent as she didnt know about what the plan was but in the books she was clearly the one pulling the strings

I would be glad of we had 5 seasons. They don't need to over extend themselves. Also, I can already a future episode named "the hour of the wolf" and I can't wait to see it.

Princess Jaehaera Targaryen (grandaughter of Alicent Hightower) married Aegon III, reuniting the branches of blacks and greens. However, she later committed suicide (or she was killed), ending the Green's branch. Aegon III eventually remarried, but all his male children died with no sons. The iron throne passed to Viserys II. Daenerys and Jon are descendants of Viserys II.

Kings gotta learning how to surrender their crown to their heir will still alive. Imagine if viserys did that, while sick, he simply gave up his crown to his daughter, there wouldn’t be any problem!

Rhaynera should of let ageon keep the crown. When dragons goto war everything burns.

In my opinion, Rhaenera should have relinquished her claim. Viserys was naive to believe the 7 kingdoms would all be satisfied with a woman as their leader. Not saying it’s right but that seems to be the easiest and most reasonable solution. That civil war destroyed their house and it was all downhill from there…

As messed up as Blood and Cheese are and Daemons plot... And it's horrible. He could have had them all killed. But he chose not to. A son for a son. I am fascinated by the workings of his evil brain.

thanks for posting and saved hours of watching show. i finally watched the finale last night. cant seem to relate to show or characters. i stumbled upon a random GOT episode from season 3 and immediately hooked, unlike this show. ofc like everyone else, did not enjoy the last few seasons of GOT. but the first five were incredible.

So the downfall of the targaryens was because a woman couldnt accept that a male was supposed to be crowned king.....

I fear this civil war is so in depth that we will only get a fraction of it in the tv series

The simple thing he could have done is say Rynara would be Heir until I have a son.🤷🏿‍♂️

It feels hollow after it's all said and done. They gained nothing, but, lost almost everything.
