Jesus had a mom, too. (Season 4 Scene)

my mama passed away 3 months ago. I miss her so much but i am grateful for her life because i had her for so much time. Thank God for mothers.

I am not a Christian, so I must ask - why did it take so long for a piece of Christian media to depict Jesus in human terms? From movies to TV shows, Christ is often depicted as a sterile and passionless figure who coldly recites lines of raw scripture. Why have other Christian creators over the years been so pathologically adverse to injecting any life into perhaps the most important man in human history?

I haven't watched this series. Is it free from woke agenda ?

The struggle of figuring out happens to everyone. It was not at all easy for jesus to tell he is the lord the god and yet stay humble and teach people how to be like him. No matter how you are and whatever u do with my life lord. I still serve you. Cause you have been through a lot to give me freedom from my sin. Love you always.

I lost my mother back in 1969 when I was only 12 years old and miss her still to this day but I thank the Lord that I learned as an adult, when I accepted Jesus into my life, that she had received Christ on her death bed and is with Him. He knows how valuable our mothers are to us.

A mother's work is never done, we nurture our children, from even before they were born,until they are grown and even after, by extension of our grand children. We do everything for our children. Alot of us before we grew our children in the Lord, they grew up not knowing about the Lord until they were older, and then they turned away from Him. As a mother it's sad, Lord I repent for not doing what I was supposed to do to raise my children to serve YOU Jesus forgive me Father. Have mercy on me. I pray that my children will come back to You Jesus, before it's too late amen. Every day is mother's day.

this makes me sad and happy all at once. Today, and it's not even the end of the day, has been a big roller coaster of emotions for me. I so desperately want to know how I can carry my cross daily. I"m beginning to understand the cost of what it means and I've only been a follower of Jesus for a month. I'm not there yet I think. I don't yet know what my purpose is or what God has in store for me but I remember His voice deep inside my being. The first time I have ever heard His voice, truly heard the voice of Him, my Creator. Whenever I think about it or talk about it it just leaves me in awe... He leaves me in awe. I so desire to be so different that others will see that I am. I hate that the flesh is weak, that I'm weak and that I am selfish and greedy and prideful. I take so much for granted, so much of life, mine in particular for granted. But no one who doesn't believe and have heard don't want to understand. They don't want to know. They all just want to be left alone and live their life when it isn't their life to live. If every human being were to repent of their sins and turn to God, then I'm so certain He would appear. That Jesus would arrive and wouldn't be to divide the sheep from the goats. But it isn't like that and won't be like that ever.

I don't think they were poor! JESUS made sure he taught the trade of carpentry to his brothers to support the family before He left! He is always providing for Mary after Joseph's death!!

This scene doesn't work. Jesus rejected His mother during His ministry because He said she and his brothers were not doing His will. She didn't show up until the end. Jesus commanded anybody who would follow Him to hate his mother and father and sister and brothers. Jesus wasn't a hypocrite. He hated His mother and His brothers in His ministry. That's why they were able to repent. That's why His brothers became Apostles. Jesus was more concerned with the Father and His real mothers and brothers than He was with His mother and brothers in the flesh.

Jesus is the ultimate Empath ... i can imagine and it is heavy to wear .. all glory to him for openning that way .. such things deserve to be lived by everyone, may the world follow his example. <3

Lightbulb moment!! Notice in the Chosen Series, just before doing a miracle Jesus always looks to heaven and pauses. When he reminds Mother Mary here that he is also human, how then can he deliver healing, resurrection. There's nothing human about that ability.
