I know many said this during the offseason, but it's sad just how awful Michigan's schedule is. Nor only did the purposely schedule only teams that they could over run years in advance, the conference sucks too. Nobody wants to win the other damn division, and only Ohio St and Penn St is worth anything in their division. The first time they face a decent team is Penn St and the next one is Ohio St. What a walkthrough of a schedule.

Domination. Michigan is doing what they should do. They are getting the backups work. Michigan has a lot of depth this year. They played 7 QBs.

Having the easiest pre-confrence schedule of ALL teams in the league is not a good thing in my book. Playing 3 basically High School teams is not a test for the team, does not prepare them for real college teams, and certainly didn’t prove anything. I sure hope these boys can roll into the next game ready!

The SEC fans shouldn't talk about scheduling cupcakes. They play cupcakes every year in November. Michigan rolled bad teams and got some much needed reps. Go Blue!

UCLA tried to schedule Michigan for last week but Michigan backed out. You don't have to schedule cupcakes. Washington beat Michigan State today, Oregon beat BYU. These are respectbal non-con games.

I am not from the US but I enjoy watching the NFL and college football and I understand all the comments about Michigan.s improvement but my comment is - I have never ever seen a worse QB than what Uconn put on the field - I am sure they could have found a better player from a Junior high school - terrible to watch the game

Everyone who complains about cupcake schedules shouldn’t complain about Michigan, they should complain about rankings. All Michigan cares about is being a contender for the title and if that means they play no one until B10 then that’s not on them. They’re doing what’s right based on the path to the playoffs… maybe if one loss didn’t matter so much it would be better to play someone better early, but one loss can stop you from making playoffs. Your season being over week 2 is not a good thing.

These scrimmage games are good training exercises for the boys!!! I know they’re not scrimmages but it might as well be!!!
Sometimes these smaller schools surprise you!!!
Never forget Rutgers!!!
The team looks good! Hopefully they can kick the shit out of Ohio State and Michigan state. I’m not a huge sports fan but I get a grin on my face whenever Michigan beats those two teams. That Grin hasn’t been there much in the last 15 or 16 years.
Go Blue!!!

I’m excited about the offense, it can do some many things. They can ground and pound, the RPO, spread you out with 4 speedy WR’s, or go jumbo package with 3 TE’s and still be dangerous throwing in it. I know they’re playing easy opponents but at least they are dominating like they are supposed too.

People can say what they want, but Michigan has not played down to any of their opponents. The same cannot be said for some other blue chip schools this year. And let's not kid ourselves, Clemson, Alabama and Georgia have all been playing cupcakes for years. It's part of college football.

I know UConn isn’t a quality win but we looked pretty good. I can remember just a few years again when games like this weren’t a sure thing. We would win by a few scores and in the end argue that “a win is a win”. It is good to see the team thriving like this. Very excited for JJ and the rest of the guys.

Yes...Michigan's non-conference schedule is monumentally weak. However, some people are acting as if the Wolverines just put the schedule together right before the season started. There is no way that anyone could have known how bad CSU and Hawaii were going to be when they were scheduled 4 years ago, and three years ago respectively (back in 2018-2019). And while Colorado State was having a pretty bad year in '18, prior to that (from 2013-2017), they had made 5 straight bowl games and had a cumulative record of 39-27. Likewise, Hawaii was 8-5 at the time they were scheduled in 2019, and would finish with a 10-5 record and a West Division championship in the Mountain West Conference. In fact, from 2016-2019 Hawaii made 3 bowl games in 4 seasons (hell, they even made a bowl game last season). So, even though the Rams and the Rainbow Warriors were certainly not considered national powers by any means or stretch of the imagination, they appeared to be pretty good football teams when they were scheduled. Michigan has to play the teams that are put in front of them...the teams that are on the schedule. It's not their fault that two of the opponents from the non-conference part of the 2022 schedule are no where near as good as they were when said 2022 schedule was made.

First of all, the title of the video needs to be changed to "#4 Michigan Highlights". If you go by this video, UConn ran 5 plays the entire game.

Second, the commentators and the fans all acting like Michigan was playing Alabama. Screaming in the stands, commentators analyzing what the Michigan player(s) did on each drive...come on, really? They played UConn, which is pretty much a Division II team that somehow got plugged in at the big boy level.

Then there are the comments in this section talking about National Title already...lets see how they play against actual competition before getting all worked up...
