To me, i feel like the whole point of delirium is one of the final ways to isaac to die. All the final bosses not hush or mega satan all have a reaaon for killing.

The Beast and Mother are for example killing Isaac cuz they are like horrid representations of Isaac's mom.

Delirium is a lil different. This is like imagining Isaac's final moments before he dies, so in a way this is like a bad ending in some sorts. And before isaac dies on his own in peace, apl the bosses and opponents he has faced all have one more chance to put him outta his misery

Just accidentally fought Delitium, I had no idea what the void even was. Luckily I had many many damage up -items and a quad brimstone mom's knife combo! It was over in 30 seconds

they really made a pretty damn cool boss concept with the whole "manifestation of isaac's life flashing before his eyes" but damn, they probably did it just so they could reuse even more assets in this old sloppy afterbirth+ dlc and that's uh... a little shitty

Looked up this ending because I have no intention of making another serious attempt at this boss again, due its poor design and being thoroughly unenjoyable to fight.

I like the boss but it's true form sucks man. Just a melty white ball with eyes. That's not the problem but like it has no animation whatsoever making is kinda awkward when it's shooting bullets like they're coming out of nowhere

The ending explains that he just wanted an escape from reality when he wanted to escape from fiction in the truth he fights off with his tears like fighting off his fears look at all of his sketches than look at what you see in basement you will notice it's his fears he's killing poop because in one sketch kids were pooping on him but in the end he accepts himself

pre nerf deelirium was somehow way cooler than the updated one, weird stuff
