House is the embodiment of its easier to ask for forgiveness instead of permission
ОтветитьThe actor in the first scene with the phantom limb pain broke my heart. His performance was insanely good. I remember crying crying during the scene.
ОтветитьI love the look on the veteran's face when House hauls close the box, like "what horrible things could be achieved with that, I don't want to go anywhere near it :S" 😅
ОтветитьHippocratic oath: "First, do no harm"
House: huh, I wonder who thats for
Hugh Laurie made a significant impact as Dinkus in that other universe.
ОтветитьNow what if House was ACTUALLY charged for every crime he’s committed on the entire show? (I know there’s a video on it, imma watch it after I finish this one)
Update: they don’t have a video on that, but if someone finds it, kindly put the link under my comment
Somehow, I feel as though Dr Buffer would've made a great addition to the team.
ОтветитьAre we tryna csncle a show? Lol
Ответитьthat "therapeutic trial" idea was actually brilliant
ОтветитьI'm not on antidepressants I'm on SPEEEEEEEEEEED
Ответитьhouse crashing into cuddy’s house is my favorite scene . the way he just hands her the brush and walks off is hilarious 😂
ОтветитьForevermore in the lore of the show, i like to think that both House and Wilson always, always, do jazz hands when prescribing a patient ….”SPEED”
Ответить“Top unethical moments” So, 8 seasons.
ОтветитьI don't despise House as much as the psychopathic script writers.
ОтветитьAmerican houses are just made of paper huh, he drove through that wall like it was nothing.
ОтветитьAs far as the last one goes, I wouldn’t consider that unethical. That’s the Greater Good Theory at practice. Loss is acceptable as long as the margin outcome is greater. With 4 children sick and an unknown of how many others are sick if you take both babies off the same medicine and you guessed wrong you have killed 2 and saved 2, essentially breaking even. With the greater good theory, you kill one but save 3
ОтветитьThe way he just pops in on the intro 😂😂😂
ОтветитьThat last one is less an ethical issue and more a philosophy/risk vs. rewards issue. Your options are remove one antibiotic and take 50/50 odds on saving both kids or losing both kids (on the assumption that one of two diagnosis are correct, which they might not be), and placing each child on opposite antibiotics, ensuring one survives and the other dies, only gambling on which (also assuming your diagnosis is correct). It's a difference of "All or Nothing" versus "Better than Nothing". House is a Better than Nothing type of man, while the others can't accept saving any less than everyone unless they chose wrong.
ОтветитьBut he gets results, though.
Ответить"I'm not on antidepressants, hand waving I'm on SPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!! hand waving " Iconic.
Ответитьhouse is the next bond villain
Ответитьthank god it's only a show. there comes a point where it doesn't matter how brilliant he is, because eventually no one wants to deal with someone like him.
ОтветитьHe needs to be in jail
ОтветитьOnly 11 minutes?
ОтветитьMost people find it "unethical" because babies were being experimented but then again, if you come to think of it, what would you have done if yous have to make thad decision?
It's easy to be angry at House but one dead baby is less aggravating than ALL dead babies.
It was about the greater good, not about what's right.
In a serious manner, would house pull the lever on a trolley problem?
Ответитьsurely on the 2 infants where he gave them 2 different antibiotics it would have been better to only test it on 1 of them first. Then there is a 50% chance of 1 death instead of 100% chance of 1 death
ОтветитьDoctors: 50/50, either both of them die or both of them live, this is ethical.
House: Guranteed save 1 child, they both have an equal chance of survival. This is unethical.
That last one is perfectly ethical? Either they condemn 4+ kids to 50/50 or 1 to die 3+ to live. Unless someone has the slightest idea then 3x1 is better than 4x0.5 unless you feel like the god gambler.
ОтветитьHouse’s phantom pain curing trick reminds me of the false arm hammer trick.
ОтветитьHow has this man only gone to jail a few rimes
ОтветитьHouse driving into Cuddy's house was justified.
Ответитьonly 11?
ОтветитьLet's be real, House having ZERO ethics would be every episode
ОтветитьSo you're going to condemn one of them based on random chance.
Yeah
The other option is both of them.
Idks its the right call to me lol.
Either you gamble with both babies or you gamble with both babies.
Also informed consent is a thing. You could explain it to the parents and give them the choice.
Thats not what house is about though xP
For the first guy i legit thought he was going to stab the box to use the phantom pain to torture him without actually touching him lmao
ОтветитьThis isn't "zero ethics". Some of these action are the very definition of having ethics.
ОтветитьHe just drove into a house
ОтветитьImagine House being jigsaw he definitely gives early John Kramer vibes
ОтветитьTime for some good old street justice.
Ответитьis that file cabinet trick an actual thing for some of those?
ОтветитьI love how the first 2 minutes is house acting like Dexter Morgan
ОтветитьWhat happened after he drove through her house? Like did he got arested I really need to watch tha episode now like wtf
ОтветитьThis show got me through some tough times. Will always appreciate it and the characters
ОтветитьThe first one had House seething of jealousy that his chronic pain stopped and regret that he didn't cut off his leg when he had the chance.
ОтветитьOk house is smart and all but if he was real he would be fired immediately
Ответитьthat is one hell of a title
