I’ve only ever knitted squares but I want to be ambitious and give this a go! I’m also making the body sections green and when I go to do the sleeves I’m going to use cream!

whenever i try and start this sweater i cast on the correct amount of stiches and end up with a ton more than i need at the end of the collar, does anyone know why this is happening?

I’m so confused your instructions are different. It’s says 5mm needles.

Hello, I'm having a fun time making my first sweater ! I'm just approaching the cuff on the body and wondered if it was possible to reduce the cuff by a couple of stitches to make that portion a little snugger ?? Not at all sure what that would do to it so I didn't want to try and then ruin my beautiful sweater. Thanks for any help!

I'm new to reading patterns so this video is helping me understand the pattern. However, you say in the video there should be 20 sts for the sleeves and 32 sts for the front and back pannles whereas the written pattern says 32 sts for the sleeves and 44 sts for the front and back.
My project has the same stich count as the video.
Can you just confirm with me about the written pattern, as I nearly frogged all my work as I thought it was wrong.

Hi, how about if i use 4 medium yarn? With knitting needle 6mm? How many stitches i need to cast on? Should i double it , as in above video 56 + 1 then becomw = 112 + 1st & it ll b divided by 4: 16st , 40 st 16st & 40 st? Is it acceptable?

Hi I would love to make this but I'm not sure how gauges work and I don't want to mess it up. I have Bulky yarn and the gauge says 11sts by 15 rows to get the correct gauge. How would you change the pattern to fit it with the correct gauge?

hi! this is my first time knitting and i don’t understand the difference between the circular knitting needles and the stick-like ones. could i not use circular knitting needles for this? or will it be harder to knit?

Assuming you can knit this same sweater with smaller needles, and thinner yarn ? would the number of stitches remain the same? Or how would one determine the required stitches for a desired size ?

Hi. I want to make this sweater with wool yarn. Will 12 ply yarn be correct? And the wool yarn that I have found has a weight of 50g for 115 yards which makes it lighter than the one you have used? Is that a problem?

I am trying to follow her exactly but when I see pdf pattern the number's are off by 4. Am I wrong? I M a beginner do I am making exactly what she is doing.
