It always struck me as great that Martok was such a connoisseur on his bloodwine. Most Klingons just grab the cup and go to town. This man judges his vintages, he is selective on what he likes.

Then you remember he grew up poor, a peasant, and probably didnt have luxuries like some did. Now that he has risen to such a position, he has had a chance to just try all he cares to and knows which ones are his favorite.

Martok is probably my favorite Klingon, and certainly one of the greatest to ever live.

they should just paint all the Miranda class ships red.

The only thing that ever bothered me was they did not even include the Enterprise E anywhere. I mean an off shot of them leading a battle would be nice being it was the flagship and all. I know it was a part of the last half of the war.

Star Trek really managed to show how messy war really is. You can train and plan and have all the skill in the world but things get so wrong so fast in a battle. Seeing the ships getting damaged and thrown into uncontrolled state and such.

I love how, as soon as the Cardassians switch sides, the VERY FIRST ship they blow up is a Breen one. 🤣

Holy shit, I forgot that they used an "over-the-shoulder" shot for the Defiant when it blows up that fighter. God, this was a serious high point for action/science fiction television.

Its hard to take it seriously due to a guy with big ears, no offence.

It's hilarious how easily these capital ships are destroyed, but not so when the focus of the battle is between a few specific ships.

Captain Sisko is just so badass. Chill as a an Andorian salt mine as the Defiant darts across the battlefield.

Deep space 9 Enterprise A and Next generation are the best.

Watching these old battles to determine if my memory deceives me or if some of them looked better than the overdone CGI of modern Treks. I actually do believe some of these hold up well. Not because today's CGI isn't more capable, but because they now oversaturate the colors and overdo the effects (in my opinion of course).

I hate the way they did battles in this series. I would have preferred if they had shields and were attacking at long range, since close range combat is suicide.

Admiral on the left sure didn't put much effort in his performance, did he? I mean, looks bored as fuck hahah. And why are there like, no shields shown in this? Everything just strikes right onto the hull it looks like. Except the Moon and it's defense grid.

Where are the Vulcan ships?

Simple fact is Star Fleet needs a hundred more ships like Defiant.
