I want my weapon to go bang every time. One that fires in the mud or water, drop it or kick it ect. Glock 19 hands down my choice in the under the 599.00 category. It’s not the prettiest but I would trust it to protect my family and my self. Enough said

Yeah, just what I want and need. A deadly weapon that can save or cost me me my life which is a bargain, but when I have to pull the trigger it ejects the magazine.

Weapons are still cheap if you know where to look - Taurus G-series can't be beat for the price and reliability plus if you don't like the trigger have keep tinkering install one for you plus other updates you can do to a Taurus and basically your Taurus still cheaper than any other $400-600 gun

Rugar?? I dislike any and all of their firearms. Never had Any luck with them, ever. I owned multiple Ruger firearms over 48 years. None were beyond Acceptable.. nothing whatsoever, was more than that.

The Taurus has a 15.6 round magazine…but that last 0.6 of a cartridge is very hard to load to the magazine. 😂

Under 800 should be Canik hands down. Walther Q5 Match isn't available for under $1,700 anywhere Ive seen for last 11 months at least. 😔

I had a Canik TP9 but lost it in a boating accident. Very nice pistol IIR.

This SUCKS, you left out SCCY 9MM, and the Hi POINT 9MM they are both great reliable GUNS. My bed side gun is the SCCY cpx-2 9mm, have had it for 3 years have shot hundreds of rounds never a problem. My brother has a HI POINT 9MM carrys it in his truck all year long never cleans it, has also shot hundreds of rounds with NO PROBLEMS. Next time don't be such a damn gun snob.

The only pistol I have under $500 is my PPS M2 - it’s outdated but if you don’t mind a single stack, non optic pistol without a rail it’s excellent
