Some other good example proof of Financial Hardships: Snap/Food Stamps, Income Statements, Medicaid Ins. card, Tax returns, VA/SS Disability income statements. Proof at or below the Poverty Line.

Dwyane, I understand that St Louis is not processing any paperwork for our claims when a VSR asks for records from them. I've been waiting since March for a resolution of claim. The VSR , I understand, has sent 2 requests to St Louis for records, and nothing moving it seems. Do you know anything about this,....resolution?

Any time frame for turn around once the priority processing is submitted

My claim has been flagged for hardship but has been sitting waiting on a rater. How does the priority processing work? Does it move my claim to the top of the list or something? It seems like it hasn’t really done much at all to spark some urgency in a rater.

@dewaynekimble what does it mean when an administrative decision was requested for my DIC claim? I am asserting my common-law-marriage. Are they simply asking for approval to recognize my marriage? Or will this also return a decision on my claim? My claim was incorrectly decided last time because the did not realize I submitted my proof of marriage electronically. I have also submitted proof of diagnosed hypertension leading to hypertensive heart disease and the eventual cardiac arrest. 156/84 was an in-service BP reading but hypertension was not treated. I submitted a personal statement about knowledge of the condition shortly after discharge(SAME MONTH). Is it likely that I will get hypertension service connected and counted as a contributory cause of death for my spouse?
