The canning skill looks really good for a mixologist, who doesn't have the option for the last tier food trait

I found something strange about the NPCs. In my old saved file the grocery stall owner is a darker skined girl instead of Kim, and in my current game the grocery delivery person is a girl instead of Rahul, in fact I've never met him in town yet. I wonder if it's somehow random, but I'd really love to see all the pre-made NPC in one file instead of auto-generated sims

It's more interesting than the Dogs and cats pack...however this would have been the perfect pack to have horses or ponies. For that I'm disappointed.

Someone has probably said this somewhere in the comments already, but when it shows the sim putting the jar in the pan, irl when canning some foods need to be pressurized in a special pan to seal them while others need to be placed in hot water. Also irl it can be a dangerous hobby. My dad has experienced multiple jars exploding especially when pressurized if something went wrong. Just a fun fact.

i bought the eco life style and cottage living recently bc i love both of their maps AND NGL I DEFINITELY THINK IT WAS WORTH IT!

I’ve had this glitch where I could play as a wild fox in the game. I could run around and explore, lay down, sit, and play with other foxes. That might seem fun but I couldn’t do a lot at all. Anyone else had this glitch?

Was looking to buy a new pack and I think I’m sold of this one now! I’ve recently gotten into the gardening thing and I enjoy it a lot surprisingly, I use to stick with painting and cooking and what made me think of this pack was raising farm animals! I LOVE animals but seeing all you can actually do in this pack I’m like WOWED by it lol awesome video also ThankYou for all the great information!

its not cooking twice, its called pasterising (I hope thats english name) its basically so you seal the lid of the jar and the food wont go bad

One thing I found in the photo with Sophie the snail is that there was a gnome in the picture photo bombing. Was so funny. (There was no gnome when there)

Won't lie. I bought a new laptop to play The Sims again, thanks to this pack. This has offered an entire new gameplay experience, I'm not one to boast about the Sims, but combining a farming simulation and a classic game like the Sims... it is everything.

The canine animation is right….but no sane person reaches in with their bare hands for the jars. You put them back into a pot to seal the jars with heat/pressure.
