Does digital cross stitching count as cross stitching
ОтветитьThe printed ones are definitely for beginners. When I started many years ago they only had counted. But as someone who has done them for a long time. I’ve gone to printed so many times did I make mistakes counting and had to tear it apart. So much easier with printed.😂 good when multitasking. Never forget where you left off.
ОтветитьI can help with any of these tapestries by embroidering them
ОтветитьYeah, I just checked. They do not have the license to be selling ANY Disney products as they require permission from Disney to do so!
Do not buy from them! They are violating patents laws!!
You'd better be careful. Clearly those Disney pictures are not legally licensed. Hence why they are not giving the actual names of the characters! Regardless if they make good kits or not. They are steeling money from the people who have legally binding patients on those characters. Which is illegal and shows that the company is a shady company!
Do not buy from this company!
What is the website it’s on
ОтветитьI've got one I'm working on, which is like an English cottage in spring, with a little wooden bridge and pond. I've been working on it for over a year now, and I adore it. I've been using a embroidery hoop which helped me out a lot in ease of working and making it in sections. Mine's a 14 count , 47 cm by 32 cm in which is the design size. I love it so much.. So I didn't exactly start out small for my first one, but I keep saying to myself, 'it's a marathon, not a sprint' doesn't matter how long it takes. As long as you have fun doing 🙂
Ответить❤
ОтветитьIt is really fun and relaxing. You can do it.
Ответитьhow many strands for the 11 count?
ОтветитьIts very easy. It doesnt take much to cross stitch 😁
ОтветитьIt’s so fun! I’m obsessed now and loved my haul from VIP but sadly I did learn some pieces were not authorized productions. I can’t wait to see you learn!❤
ОтветитьThey do have great deals on kits. Also have where you can do personalized ones. I just did this for the holidays a d they come out very nice. Well this video was 8mths ago, but for next time I advise not get some with so much black backrounds as they pick up dust easily. I just finished a 26×22". Also for me I can't do counted Cross stitch, and I have to do 11ct. Which makes the project much larger. Thanks for sharing all those kits.
Ответитьi have alot of stamped ones and DP's but on the CS that black forest one you showed won't come out well in detail, if its not clear on the canvas it won't be when done, i have found. i just started a CS channel myself and you see all i go through and those i donate that aren't done,
ОтветитьI would not support a business like this. They do not respect copyright. They have too much on their website that they neither own the copyright to or are licenced to make kits from the actual designer. So those designers do not make money from what this company is selling.
ОтветитьI do counted all the time. It just takes more patience, but you're best if you save that one until you're more comfortable with cross stitch.
Ответить“3 decades of entertainment” - you made me chuckle. I’ve been wanting to try cross stitch, too, so I’m going to check out that site. Happy stitching!
ОтветитьI've been cross stitching since I was a little girl I do it all the time
ОтветитьYour video is charming but I must say you have the most beautiful eyes. I even had to show my husband your video and he said they are mesmerizing.😊
ОтветитьThose kits look awesome, I'm pretty sure that once you gain confidence you could do the counted cross stitch but you take it a bit at a time I learned to cross stitch at school about 8 years old your work dosent have to be perfect it's about doing something that you enjoy, I hope you enjoy this new hobby I find it relaxing and love making things that I like to look at. Good luck
ОтветитьI have the alice in wonderland cross stitch i am doing at the minute it is so easy to do i love these
ОтветитьJoy Sunday are the best printed cross stitch kits the booklets are shiny nd easy to read i hve a fair few of thm ...
ОтветитьHi, I’ve been using these kits for a couple of years, along side counted ones.
The printed Aida can be quite stiff. So if you scrunch it up and twist it ..it softens the fabric and sits in a hoop a bit easier…
Happy stitching..
Subscribed to see your progress :)
ОтветитьHello great videos, I’m a guy and I love cross-stitching a lot. Have a question I ordered some patterns with the printed photos on them, this kind is new for me. My question is I’m left hand, where should I start left or right side? And is their a glove or something else I can use that won’t rub the print off?
ОтветитьEmail or reach out to the company and ask if they can send you a pdf pattern for your castle pattern. Can put in on a tablet /phone and blow it up to a 10×10 square. It will be so much easier and way easier to read the pattern. No it's not a stamp but it will be way easier and less intimidating!
Remember one stitch at a time and 1 10×10 at a time. You've got this! 🙂
You should get the Joy Sunday stamped kits! They are literally the best!
ОтветитьJen, Thank you for sharing this website link. Yes, it’s hard Choose kits the selection is awesome. But I Just ordered kits today using your code.I enjoy cross stitch. Hope you do too. I had Never done stamped only counted so new to stamped. Yes, one stitch at time and have come love the stamped so much more.
ОтветитьMake sure you get an embroidery hoop to put your work in it will make it so much easier to keep the tension of your stitches the same. And if it’s something you are going to continue doing a magnetic board that helps keep your place on the pattern so you don’t get lost.
ОтветитьQue de beau projets
ОтветитьThose are beautiful! I've been doing cross stitch for almost 40 years. My best advice is to start small. It's an easy skill to pick up, but very time consuming. It's easy to get bored or frustrated when you don't see results as quickly as you think you should. Starting small lets you get the feel of it while also giving you the satisfaction of finishing. I've always done counted, so I imagine it's slower because you're always counting stitches and going back to look at the pattern. I'll have to try the stamped ones and compare.
ОтветитьJen, Thank you for sharing my 25 year old daughter loves to crosstitch. She started in college to do it for relaxation, ect. These are great. Now I need to get shopping for her.
ОтветитьGreat Video
ОтветитьThe Diamond dots were frustrating to me. I’d rather stitch!!
ОтветитьI’m a cross stitch-aholic.
Make sure you get all of your stitches going in the same direction. My bottom stitch goes from lower left to upper right and the top stitch goes the other way.
When I started 35 years ago the thread wasn’t separated.
Use a straight edge like a ruler to keep your place
I used to love to do Crosstitch when I was younger. Haven’t done it in over 30 years
