I came from i9 9900k for one I9 13900k and for play games i dont see any diference. In video I9 9900k was in stock, if you put i9 9900k all core in 5 ghz, you wil get 20% more FPS, no doubt. So, if you have one i9 9900k keep your processor and just be happy. :)
Ответитьthe bottleneck is real. i really need to pair up my 7900xtx with newer cpu+mobo+ddr5 combo. thank you for the comparison tests
ОтветитьThe 9900k still a great cpu. Just not for the 4090
ОтветитьWincing at the temps on that 13900K. Jeez.
ОтветитьLet's be honest 9900k still rock in sports games where u need high fps with somewhat 4070ti. And if you will play on higher resolutions with 4090 the gap would be minimum, 9900k still would be good for several years in terms of gaming and video production. To the time when 9900k would be really outdated ddr5 should significantly drop in price. Still playing on 1080p with 9900k and doing some render sessions paired with 1080ti, extremely smooth and comfortable gameplay. There no actual need at this time to upgrade to something like 13900k/7800x3d if you already have 9900k/5800x(3d).
ОтветитьI wonder why nothing is at 100% useage? What is the bottleneck? Ram speed?
ОтветитьThank for video and comparation, im still @i7 3770K, pretty antique but still holding up. Recently got 3060ti and started seeing how CPU bottlenecks, 9900K will be a brutal cheap upgrade to me. Cheers mate
Ответить9900k now just bottleneck 4090
ОтветитьStill waiting for a CPU that can do 240 fps on everything
ОтветитьSo basically... a video showing how a card for people who spend top dollar works on a 4-year old CPU at settings nobody would ever use with a card that expensive. You should have shown 1440p and 4K.
What I got out of this is that my 9900K will probably be just fine at 1440p and 4K with a 7900XTX - at least till the next generation of CPUs.
Why was the 9900k locked at 4.7 Ghz? It can easily be locked at 4.9-5.0Ghz (or 5.2 with good cooling) but unlocking it should let it boost up to 5.0 when needed.
Ответитьwhy did you run this test at 1080p with a 4090? meaningless really
ОтветитьY
ОтветитьТолько вот он стоит как I 5 13700k так что смысл от 1151v 2 просто нет
ОтветитьWonder what the gap would be with the 9900k overclocked to 5.1 ghz.
ОтветитьThx
ОтветитьThanks Bro for your efforts.
I was thinking to upgrade i7 6700k to i9 9900k BUT completely unworthy, I do have to buy a new system better than through trash in the trash can
can you du the same with 4080?
ОтветитьHow about testing with an rtx 2080 instead of the 4090
ОтветитьCore i9 13900K - PWR 170Watt in Cyberpunk? Core i9 9900K PWR 90Watt
Ответитьehh i'll wait a few more years before i upgrade.
ОтветитьWhat a fun comparison. Thanks.
ОтветитьThis video is using 1080p for the comparisons, why? I'm still using an i9-9900k with an MSI 4090 Suprim X at 4k triple monitor setup. Most games are at or above 60 fps 60hz so I'm happy as a clam, I'll upgrade when the Intel 15th gen arrives, that'll put the 9th gen at ~7-8 years old (roughly guessing). Any games that drop below 60 fps, I just run them on a single monitor and the frames jump to around 90+
ОтветитьI'll wait for i9 14900K
ОтветитьThe difference is 4-8-12 years into the future. Core i9 13900K (1080p resolution) vs Core i9 17900K (2K resolution) vs Core i9 21900K (4K resolution) Core i9 25900K (8K resolution) VS Core i11 99900K (16K-32K resolution)
ОтветитьI don't understand all this discussion below.. Let me end this right now. If your gaming at 4k like me. A 9900k is just fine because most of the games aren't going to be using the cpu much. If you have a 3090 ti ,4080,4090, its not going to matter, you'll be using the GPU.
If your playing at 1440p, 4090 is overkill and is a waste of money. Hell, the 4080 is probably overkill. And if your gaming at 1080p.. WHY? I guess, of your a kid and you don't have a job or you make very little money, but still.. WHY? Its 2023! Get a 4k monitor.. They are cheap enough now. Your not a professional gamer. Move to 4k!
bit overkill to get an 4090 if your only gonna play 1080P, though I know its the easiest way to show the CPU difference, but it will be smaller in 1440P and even less in 4k
ОтветитьSkipping lga 1700 with my 24/7 10900k sp118 5700MHz 1,38v. Don’t have any problem with it’s performance.
Ответить4 years newer and it draws 2x the power. That is progress. Whats next? 400 watt cpus? I9 9900k wins on power for sure. 13900k is a power hog.
ОтветитьI wish you can also compare some even more CPU dependent games like Anno 1800, Mount & Blade 2.
ОтветитьBaba dang the temperature
ОтветитьNext up from Testing Games: gaming in 720p on a RTX 4090. /s
How much did you got from Intel for this ad video?
Bro compare the RTX 4090 i9 9900k and 13900K at 4K and 8k❤
ОтветитьGosh, look at the temps! No, thank you.
ОтветитьDoes anyone still play at 1080p these days? That resolution is gross and low
ОтветитьThink the more frames u get the the i9 13900k going to run much hotter for some reason , I’d lower the frame and the cpu start cooling down lol think the cpu using too more pressure holding that much frame
ОтветитьThe difference is great due to FHD gaming resolution. The difference would be musc smaller at 4K or higher resolution. Curre try rocking a 9900K on a z390 GODLIKE, RTX 3090, 4x raid 0 sx 8200 nvme @ (6480x3840)~16:9 ratio.
ОтветитьThe ram clock speed is nearly doubled. This is not a fair/direct comparison.
Ответитьpfff, in 4k plz
Ответить13th gen is a pretty nice room heater 😂 I’d like to see it in action with water cooler 💪 also this RAM speed makes a difference
ОтветитьBoss what benchmark tool is this? Im using msi riva tuner but i cant get tdp and percent lows to show
ОтветитьOutside competitive online gaming does it really matter to play any other game beyond 120fps?
ОтветитьThe 13900K runs so hot.
ОтветитьBro what the fuck that performance difference I'd insane
Im upgrading from a 4790k to a 13900k or maybe by the time I have the money the next line will be out and ill be able to get a 14900k... but the performance difference from a 4790k to 13900k must be absolutely mindblowing if this is already like +50-70 fps
Push the i9 to 5ghz if you want it to be fair, this test is bs.
Ответитьthe differential in the GPU % is telling when you look at the CPU specs and FPS afterwards, it really shows how the CPUs are holding back the GPU's full potential in both cases, but especially in the older hardware
ОтветитьAmecia, it’s the macular!
ОтветитьGod, I knew it, the 9900K is gimped for high frame rates, I see it all the time, 4090 sitting at like 70% but the frame rate won’t exceed 115 no matter what the resolution is, and that’s just one example
ОтветитьWho runs a 9900K at 4.7 Ghz?
Ответить
