Our finest hour
ОтветитьYou wont find leaders like this nowadays
Ответить"We've never lost an American in space..." Note this distinction. Yes, we've lost like 3 crews since we started exploring outside Earth's atmosphere, but it was always on the way up or re-entering the atmosphere.
ОтветитьAll of the actors except for Ed Harris look like men from the 90s who were made up (albeit, well) to look like they were from the late 60s/early 70s. He looks like a man who was living in that time and was plucked out of it to participate in this movie
ОтветитьThere is no such thing as: "there are no colored bathrooms around for me to use, I have to run to the other building". Just men solving issues!
ОтветитьClearly some of you people have never watched an asteroid movie before...
Ответить“I want people in the simulators” (engineer leaves for the simulator without hesitating) . Great detail
ОтветитьCongrats to ISRO on their south pole moon landing. You guys nailed it.
ОтветитьEd Harris is an amazing actor who commits to his characters and to his craft 100%.
Ответитьif this was created today under Netflix. half of those Enginners will be Black the other half women and the dumbest will be a white male
ОтветитьChandrayaan-3 successfully landed on moon 😎😎😎😎😎 congratulations india 🇮🇳
Ответить12 amps is a lot , did vacuum cleaners used that amperage back in those days ?
ОтветитьWhat they ended up finding out was that two of the oxygen tanks had been accidently dropped on the factory floor
ОтветитьYOU STAY ALIVE YOU HEAR ME
ОтветитьEd Harris is just phenomenal in this role
ОтветитьWhen white men had confidence
ОтветитьThis is Gene Kranz at work doing an Ed Harris imitation.
Ответить1995 was a great year for movies
ОтветитьFailure is not an option!
ОтветитьCant bee
ОтветитьI just keep watching this section over and over again. Ed Harris acting here is beyond legendary.
Ответитьgod bless the brave men who brought our flag to the moon and god bless kennedy for giving us the hope to do it...... god bless the usa
ОтветитьAre the white shirt and black slacks the NASA uniform?
ОтветитьWhen men ruled the earth
ОтветитьYears later, I see something funny in this part of the movie. If batteries are important because the ship needs power, shouldn't they take a dynamo into space? Dynamo is not space equipment, but it could save this mission.
ОтветитьThe youngest guy takes command of the conversation here. I love the way he states his case and no one argues. That's the deal?.... that's the deal. No hesitation.
ОтветитьWhite people at their best...
ОтветитьEngineers rules this world...
ОтветитьDid they dieded?
ОтветитьIs that the guy from it’s always sunny?
ОтветитьThis was after Apollo 11
ОтветитьI’d be more scared of what Ed Harris would do to me than the astronauts dying! 😂
ОтветитьExcellent 90s acting...great talented people.
ОтветитьPeople forget that Gene Kranz was 39 when he flight director in this Apollo 13 mission. He was flight director for Apollo 11 at 36. Many of these guys were in their late 20's and 30's out there.. This was all teamwork that got these astronauts back.
ОтветитьBut art is an option.
ОтветитьIf only we could retain this mentality daily
ОтветитьKapur dan papan tulis dan penghapus samuel siregar
ОтветитьSince we NEVER even WENT to the moon, kinda hard to fail…. A return.
Ответить🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠😎😎😎😎
ОтветитьTalk about an obvious hair piece.
ОтветитьScenes like this make one appreciate the true heroes were those on the ground, problem solving how to get the astronauts back.
ОтветитьPowered so far down all they really had was a fan to circulate the air into the purifiers, and a radio to communicate with Huston. That's it.
After Apollo 13 a third oxygen tank was installed in the service module on the opposite side. So if anything like this were to happen again it wouldn't be as dicey. If the explosion had happened in Lunar orbit it would have been far more challenging. Or if it were after the Lunar Module had landed, then the situation would have turned fatal. Fortunately every mission following was a success, and an additional 8 astronauts made their mark on the Moon.
🥇🥈🥉
Ответитьisn't that the kid from angels in the outfield?
Ответить"Hell, we've never even simulated it before Gene." That line always gets me for encompassing just how grand-a-scale this scene was to Apollo 13
ОтветитьJoe Biden: Where am I going, guys?
