Ashitemasu!! Such a bad a$$ when it comes to sext villains, I'm excited to hear his talents alongside Sakurai Takahiro-san! He's also another amazing well-known actor whose voiced a lot of antagonist characters! He can voice both protagonist and antagonist!

For the dubbing on the English, I think Aerith is the only English Dubb I don't really like. It's okay but..ugh..jsut tone seems cheesy "dorky" aesthetic undertone. Just not my fav on the dubbing lol.
Maaya Sakamoto naturally fits it.

I have been always a fan of japanese dub and play in japanese if I can but in this game and remake, the english voice actors made a incredible performance that oblige me to play it in english. Evidently the japanese voice actors are always good.

The English cast was so damn good, and this was the best localisation I've ever seen/heard. Only a couple of the English voices didn't do it for me, but almost everyone was perfect for the role. Of course the Japanese cast is excellent as always, but I think a few of the English VA's outshine their Japanese counterparts. I tried Remake in English and was fairly impressed, but ended up sticking with playing it in Japanese, as it seemed a much more natural fit. This time, though, I'm not so sure.

How'd they get the lips to match both languages.

I actually think the English dub voices sound pretty similar to the original Japanese. Both are great!

Masako Katsuki, Gara Takashima and her husand Banjō Ginga worked on the Japanese dub of "JAWS 2" for its 2022 BS Tokyo edition.

Masako dubbed for Dr. Elkins (Collin Wilcox), Gara dubbed for Ellen Brody (Lorraine Gary), and Banjō dubbed for Mayor Larry Vaughn (Murray Hamilton).

I'm playing rebirth and played remake in German and I must say sephiroth has the best voice actors in all 3 languages. His voice lines always gives me chills ❤

English dub wins

A sad fact about Reno is that his Japanese VA passed away in 2020 - rather than recasting the role they used archived voice over for his scenes. This is also why he isn't present for most of the story and has no interaction with new characters like Elena.

From my perspective...men sound better in English and just a few girls sound better in Japanese.
