ОтветитьThese days , I'm feeling so strange i feel depressed all the time
I am avoiding all my work and i always feel sleepy , lazy and feel so stressful
Now i want to overcome from everything and start to work on mu self
But i don't know how I'm gonna do it
I don't really share my problems woth anyone and i don't have any friends
Sometimes i feel like I'm surrounded by selfish amd arrogant people who only care about themselves
it’s 5 pm lmao
ОтветитьNot me watching this video laying in bed after 3 days of avoiding studying
ОтветитьNow i will be procrastinating because it protects me
ОтветитьNice
Ответитьi saw this vid at 5pm
ОтветитьI think the best way to stop procrastination is arranging your tasks according to the difficulty level and not by the importance. Plan to complete easy tasks first. This is because when you get started with an easy task, you enter the flow state getting everything done.
Ответитьthis video is a perfect description of me
ОтветитьYes. I am procrastinating by watching this video. It's worth it, tho.
ОтветитьAmazing video
Ответитьthnksd i am now motivated to clean my room for 5 minutes and then i will go back to make it messy hehe
ОтветитьWhat about the Pomodoro technique Guys!!!!!
ОтветитьYou need to check the very funny, intertainng and absolutely helpful courese and book
Learning How TO Leanr
and there is a small version of it: learning how to learn for youth
and there is Mindshift if you want and Very very short one, Learn Like A Pro from Edx
all of these have books
and the first ones are from coursera
I don't feel bad about procrastinating, that's the worst part 😅😢
ОтветитьI need to learn how to do that and end the procrastination
Ответить😢
Ответитьself compassion for procrastination while also saying procrastination is no good for anyone in the long term is- complicated- but the caring too much statement was interesting.
Ответитьi came here to avoid my habit of procrastinating....now i'll watch this video after some days.
ОтветитьI think your way is fit to me. Thank you

ОтветитьDoes anyone else regularly come back here when they are procrastinating?🙈👉👈 Just me... okay😂
ОтветитьThanks ❤ the content of this video is awesome with the colourful animation
ОтветитьIt's been 3 years of Law School. It is the hardest part of my life this far. I never deal with procrastination before it appears in my first year of university. It so damn difficult, I care too much. I want to study, I do everything well I've got bad grades and my esteem is down. I am so afraid to get bad grades again that a part of me, is blocking me to study. I feel so guilty that I punish myself to not doing what i want the most (doing some workout, seeing my friends...). I am so dawn sad to feel this way... But it is a reality, post-grade is not a dream for everybody... Thank for the video, take care of you whoever you are ✨️
ОтветитьAs a chronic procrastinator, I consider breaking tasks into smaller pieces is a MUST, not just a way that you should choose or not. Furthermore, it helps me reach my flow state almost everytime I try.
If I have to draw a big artwork, I'd break it into 15-minute or even 5-minute-needed-to-be-done tasks, write it down to the paper and number tasks from 1 to as big as it goes on. The scale of tasks depends on your capacity to do them. Refine them carefully in the early process would helps you unconciously enter the flow later on.
For ex, instead of naming task: "drawing a full bird", let just "1. find three reference pictures", "2.make basic shape", "3.shade wings", "4. choose basic color", so on. Striking through them when you're done will also give you a sense of complete.
Hope it help someone
SDHGJDGHFDA HOW DID THIS MAKE ME CRY?????
Ответитьi have project submission tomorrow and im watching this video and typing this comment
ОтветитьThis has remained still in my "watching later" playlist for more than a year 😅
I had an intuition about most of it (I mean the origin and process of procrastination, even the solution for getting rid of it), though this will help for sure ; because it confirms what I was uncertain about and helps me forgiving myself.
I'll work on it, I swear ... like, tomorrow in the morning ;)
the fact i had this on my watch later playlist…………
ОтветитьLove the animation. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьAs a guy on self improvement I appreciate this
ОтветитьThat’s the third TED video I watched today. It doesn’t really help to start doing things
Ответитьwow
ОтветитьTeacher: Why didn't you do your homework?
Student: I cared too much.
Opening with a quote from the creator of Calvin and Hobbes was genius.
"You never have enough time to do all the nothing you want."
Saved this video to watch later
ОтветитьImagine being procrastinator, and procrastinate watching this video!!
ОтветитьWow Ted just ended procrastination
ОтветитьHere I am, my essay due in 2 days😅
ОтветитьThis information sounds wrong and the underlying psychological theory seems faulty to me. My reasons for procrastination are:
-I'm not under (time) pressure due to a missing deadline
-My boss lacks leadership and lets me do my own thing, so I can freely choose whenever I wanna work
-Having my workplace at home distracts me too much
-Work tasks can be annoying and uncomfortable
-I don't have the discipline to work continuously, so I rather work in bursts
-I don't need that money for living in the moment
Does anyone else have this on their "watch later" playlist?
ОтветитьWe are procrastinating not because we know it is bad but we don't know it is bad.
ОтветитьThis is the most useful video I've ever seen lately. It was all true about me and i really appreciate they just made it!!
ОтветитьTHIS IS SO ACCURATE.
I do have high standards, and I do short term tasks pretty well even they're hard. But I take those SUPER HUGE long term tasks sooooo seriously that I'm just getting affraid and trying to escape from it...
I'm procrastinating my life from past 40years until I found this video , and still procastinate watching this video
