@deutscheautoparts hi is the Febi dsg fluid good ? I didnt notice the spec TL52182 but a few sites validate the fitment on for a 2012 beetle with dsg 2.0t but didn’t knotice it on shop dap?

I have Scirocco 2011. Is it possible to use Shell DCT F3 instead of VW G 052 182 A2 ?

I have a 2011 VW gti with stock dsg transmission can I replace it with a 2013 dsg transmission with no issues? Do I need to worry about programming? Or is it plug and play. Thanks in advance.

So you just put all 5 in? I always thought you had to let so drain out past the level plug? Do you shift through the gears before you get going? While the engine is on?

You can fill the Transmision using the filter hole. Thats avoid the fluid spill.

Alright wtf is going on here I just watched a video by the humble mechanic on dsg service and these videos conflict each other on the other video he drove the car after filling and let the fluid drain out until it stopped on this one your overfilling the trans and shoving the plug in as fast as you can to keep it overfilled what’s the right way ??????

Both are super helpful and, yes, I did buy my DSG svc kit from you including the semi-expensive but awesome pump. You and Charles are much more handsome 6 years later and probably dance better too!

I found a free workaround to the force fill method that worked great for me. I work at a GM Dealer and we have straws that thread onto DEF fluid bottles, most guys reuse them so the parts dept has tons of spares they’ll likely hand out for free. Turns out they thread onto the DSG bottles and fit PERFECTLY into the filter housing. Fluid can be added from the top and you won’t spill a drop.

Are you not supposed to start engine snd run it through each gear to make sure all compatriot are full to where it’s suppose to be. Also how do you know weather what you lost while switching plug to filler hose? What if you fumble and loose more then what you did? Can you overfill the trans a bit just in case you screw up on the switch-a-roo?

Also of the outer Ellen should be closed when there's almost no oil coming out how come so much did come out when you first removed the 14 bolt?

I have seen videos were the fluid is top filled. It seems easier.

Bad job, avoid copying as there is no care taken in achieving optimal fluid level through running all the gear idle to 35-40°.

Wrong fluid, wrong procedure, wrong techs working on the car.

They need to make a fumoto plug for this!

Thought you were supposed to shift all through the gears and whatever doesn’t clear the overfill funnel then put on main plug? Also it’s ok to mix liqui molle with oem fluid?

How often should the fluid in the AWD Bevel Box be changed? Also 40K? Is this something the Service Center does at the same time as the DSG or do you have to ask for it do be done?

Manufacturers should make all the filter easily replaceable from the bottom of the car with little to no tools. They make it difficult or tedious so that people will not do it and thier cars will break and wear out

only Germans could make a fairly simple thing as changing oil in a gearbox so complicated, but I guess they want to convince you to go to the dealer!
