If you could only travel back in time to 30 years ago you would have really enjoyed your meal at a reasonable price. 😂 They have become the equivalent to What Kelly’s is to Roast Beef.
ОтветитьI love tripe
ОтветитьYou need to get the full dinner menu which a large portion of tips and the salad dressing there is great
ОтветитьNo beard scruff, come on. Chelsea, no trees on the site, authentic. The are potato wedges. The previews of the future places croak today's joint. Ambiance, poly on paneling, don't use fancy words like ambiance for an old joint like that. No way 3 decent tips and failed spuds are worth $16.
ОтветитьShould have gotta side salad with the house dressing made in house
ОтветитьChampions is better IMO. You can’t beat my tips that I buy at McKinnon’s and cook on the charcoal grill.
ОтветитьGood review. That potato definitely looked odd. Odd usually equals not so good taste-wise. No always, but usually. Tips are one of those things where I can't think of local restaurant that I would prefer over a homemade version. I prepare mine with a red wine marinade, but they are also great with just a rub. It's more about not overcooking them than anything else, IMHO.
ОтветитьCheck out Michael G’s…..
ОтветитьCouldn’t agree more with the “fries” comments
ОтветитьFibber McGee's in Beverly, best Steak Tips of my 56 year life!!!!
ОтветитьThe Legend!!! New bridge!!! #1 forever
ОтветитьFloramos!!! The best in history here!!!! Legends!!! They are back in the Original OG place
Ответить"Deep fried, double fried, piece of shit, bad for you French fries."
You just invented a thing, my guy.
been going to newbridge since I was in shortpants and the fries have always sucked and they will never get rid of those abominations I always get the salad, best dressing around. Still love the tips though, top notch
ОтветитьTry Lazy Dog in Lynn. I’m a huge Champions guy but Lazy Dog can give them a run for their money
ОтветитьCouldn't agree with you more.
ОтветитьLong gone, the goat hill in Beverly had the best tips
ОтветитьTown Spa in Stoughton had great steak tips with rice and green beans for 12.50. I think it was a special on Wednesdays. A very good amount of tips and the seasoning is some of the best I’ve had.
ОтветитьFloramos sucked. New bridge was always better. ALWAYS.
ОтветитьThe Cherry Tree in West Newton. Fantastic steak tips!!!!
ОтветитьBIG MIKE THAT WAS A HOTT REVIEW WISH THEY COULD HAVE DONE BETTER .HA HA FRENCH FRIES THE PITTS TOO BAD AND THANSK FOR THE HONESTY .PEACE OUT
ОтветитьOUCH 27 DOLLARS PLUS THEN FOR TWO LOTS OF DOUGH RE MI $$$$$$$
ОтветитьSauce is actually coca cola, and I forget what else..but thats the base ingredient.. and FFS that is not a cheap meal price
ОтветитьCooked so uneven
ОтветитьLike you say $15 is the new $10. Steak tips and fries were $4.95 in the late 80s now up to $34 for a full portion at one place I go to. As long as it is a satisfying portion I don't mind paying though. They had clam chowder on the menu you should have done a 2 for 1 review!
ОтветитьBrah you looking like a fire fighter with the handle bars
ОтветитьLove new bridge and the salad dressing miss the vibes and I’d say “Dom’s” in Malden and “Brothers” on eastern ave was good tips as kid
I dated a woman named Persefoni her dads cuzzin had a decent shop in Medford I can’t remember the name Greek shit
Champions 🐐
ОтветитьEverybody I hung with in the Eighties went to New Bridge. I was there a few months ago and it Sucked, Chewy, Overcooked, and Not Worth It. I Miss Floramos, They We’re The Best!
ОтветитьNew Bridge is a Solid spot. One of the few places I'll order lamb tips
ОтветитьRIP FLORAMOS!!!!
ОтветитьSomeone couldn't afford a full order.....LOL
ОтветитьChampions in Peabody have amazing steak tips too
ОтветитьSecret marinate
1 part : coke, ketchup, kens Italian dressing
One of the biggest losses in the steak tip world was when Majors in Salem closed. Loved their tips.
ОтветитьI loved Floramos
ОтветитьWe used to go to newbridge back in the 80s when i was kid. My parents would take us there every friday night. And back then, i can say, they were the best. Haven't been there since late 90s. But if you wanted them tips, mooing back in the 80s and 90s, they were definitely mooing 😂😂😂
ОтветитьLarry bird, called newbridge, his favorite dive bar, back in the eighties.
ОтветитьSteak tips at the 466, in danvers mass. on route one.
Aged beef style, are top notch.
And I'm a new bridge guy.
Been going to new bridge, since they opened in 75.
Never get new bridge tips with fries, salad only.
Problem is the tomatoes in salad are terrible.
Michael when are you posting the champions review, I’m dying to see what you think. You might run into the same issue where your tips might be medium on a few and mid-well on another. I would highly recommend you ask for medium rare at champions as I always feel like they cook it one notch above, and really tell them “LISTEN, if these aren’t medium rare I’m sending them back…” they have good steak fries, not a cut up potato lol
ОтветитьConrad's in norwood
ОтветитьI used to frequent the Newbridge when I worked in Charlestown (40 years ago), was always good, but seems a bit pricey nowadays and a little chincy on the portion size…. I’ll pass, and stick with my South Shore places, like Abington Ale House, and Buddies Union Villa 👍
ОтветитьI went to school with Jeff Floramo in Lynnfield, his dad runs the grill house on route 1 now; the old hilltop
ОтветитьA agree with your rating for new bridge Cafe.... champion pub is my To go place....
