1. Yes I has a significant performance uplift(avg like 22% over the 5800x3d) But that's because of more 3D cache, higher clock speeds a better architecture and better ram. Same Cores and threads here.
3. AMD doesn't directly sell motherboards. Also you can put every am5 CPU on every am5 motherboard. More expensive Mainboards offer more ram capabilities, faster SSD speeds or better GPU support.

13900K also has horrible instability and overheating problems so that's definitely a big L for Intel in my opinion 😂 I literally had to buy a new processor because Intel in the motherboard manufacturer don't know how to speak with each other ruined my processor and all Intel could say was oops blame Asus 🤦🏻‍♂️ needless to say I'll be sticking with AMD for the duration of my life lol
