Are you trying to sell art supplies here?
ОтветитьThe painting looks beautiful....from what I can see of it. Probably one of the more useless videos of a superb artist I've ever seen. And you screwed it up by showing us nothing in terms of technique. The camera was so far away you couldn't see brush strokes. You couldn't see basically anything useful. Why bother visiting a great artist only to deliver disappointment in seeing him actually painting.
ОтветитьI cat stop watching this. Love the style and the details in his painting. Simply amazing love you guys
ОтветитьBrilliant
ОтветитьWhere can I find that book?
ОтветитьI never realized what a big thing watercolour was in Australia. So many great artists out there.
ОтветитьGraeme, are you cheating and misleading the Viewers showing another painting that is not painted live by D. Taylor in THIS VIDEO as a Cover Image ! If you are an artist you should be more respectful to the Viewers.
ОтветитьCan you please FOCUSED the camera on the painting. So WE can learn some techniques ❤
ОтветитьYeah, he’s a Jedi Master
ОтветитьAmazing.
ОтветитьDear Graeme, as a beginner to painting in watercolour thank you for 'Putting Some David Taylor into my Life'! It was a joy to watch and I then watched it all over again! What a beautiful style! I've been lucky enough to visit Polperro and some of the other places in the preview paintings and he captures the scene, mood and atmosphere wonderfully well!
ОтветитьPlease comes to Venezuela and paints our largest waterfall in the world the kerepakupai Vena in Canaima and give us that beautiful detail 😉❤️😘💐, please, visit us someday, l paint in watercolour and l do love your paintings
ОтветитьLoved it! This has inspired me tremendously thank you thank you than you
ОтветитьFabulous
Ответить😑 David Taylor sold out to Daniel Smith, too? Right: you can't tell me he doesn't use cadmiums. I had to go GET some to reproduce some of his work and DS doesn't do cads. I had a thought these known watercolourists had their paints made for them by apprentices but we're to believe DT HOPS when he cracks open a store-bought tube of DS. Is there ANY painter DS hasn't bought out? ANY? Oh: and I bet DT just loves the Primafakes. Teks. Whatever.
I use DS too, but lol at DS being all that romantic talk junk of watercolours. MOONGLOW? It's an okay grey. Ugh. Vermilion's a good one, but Sennelier's option is better. David Taylor uses cadmiums! And not a billion layers. Someone give jumping boy some QoRs and watch him really bounce off the ceilings 😂 Give him heart pills before letting him near Schminke's super-granulatings!
Fantastic work David. Many thanks!!
ОтветитьI used to be a an obsessed mx/mtb/Bmx racer. It's all I used to watch.
This is now my absolute favorite you tube channel!
Beautiful paintings 🤩❤️🥰😍
ОтветитьAmazing work. Post more videos of your beautiful art
ОтветитьWow. What an amazing man
ОтветитьBrilliant artist❤️
ОтветитьBeautiful
ОтветитьI love Your watercolour painting
Ответить¡¡¡ Maravillosa acuarela, toda una obra de arte. !!!
ОтветитьAmazing!
Ответитьmagnificant David
ОтветитьThank you, I like David Taylor very much
ОтветитьNice video. I agree with him about this old theory of "you must use watercolor in thin washes". If you look at old watercolors before John singer sargent. The color was a lot more solid and the use of opaque colors was universal along with transparent. Turner had a lot of large opaque watercolors that are quite solid and detailed. It wasnt until John Singer sargent that everyone started trying to replicate that wishy washy sketch look and dropped the opaque colors. I think it really harmed watercolor as a medium by making it look like the sketch medium and not what it can be which is a solid large beautiful painting just like oil painting. Its hard for it to compete with oil when its so wishy washy.
Ответить... the quiet dignity of the craftsman, so forcefully stated here and so unjustly despised today... an honest, decent painter... reassuring...
ОтветитьArtistry, vision, innovation and practicality enable this genius of watercolour to create unparalleled quality of art. As a newbie artist, hobbyist really, this is just another universe. His passion and confidence is infectious.
ОтветитьLOL ! My teacher is showing this video in online class
ОтветитьI’ve been in a dry Covid gully and it’s been so depressing. Returning to this wonderful painter and his enthusiasm has made me want to jump - and race back to my paints. Thank you!
ОтветитьProbly one of the greatest pictures unveilled on colour in your life. Brilliant
ОтветитьFantástic David! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
ОтветитьLo que no me gusta de este tutorial es que enfocan mucho rato al pintor cuando el está pintando y uno deja de ver como lo está haciendo 🤦♂️
ОтветитьHas to be in top 3 watercolor artist in the world, simply amazing work and he can do it in his sleep.
Ответитьgreat artist....... it's a dream of a lifetime to be able to paint like him...... let's try to make this dream a reality someday in this lifetime....🙂
Ответить¡¡Que maravilla de acuarela!!, me da envidia sana cuando las veo.
ОтветитьI love what you do, thank you. Showing artis work and how they do there work.
I would like to suggest to show more of the hands on the paper instead of looking at the artis.
I never understand all the dis likes in videos like this! (insert confused emoji)
ОтветитьLove this one! But.. I’ve really enjoyed your program and your ability to interview and inform during the programs!!!
