Psychopaths, Sociopaths, Narcissists, Dark Empaths - Who's More Mentally harmful?

im a bit confused by these "personality types" are you saying some people are just evil and thats it, you just have to avoid them? (maybe lock them up in jail for the safety of society?)

Yes I have all three of them actually in Los Angeles CA area. When you actually visit Los Angeles CA area, you actually feel like you're actually inside a prison and also a mental hospital at the same time. I am very extremely glad to move to another state.

I think dark empaths are just covert narcissists. And these are by far the most dangerous as they ruin your life and make your social environment to believe that you are a bad and incapable person and the covert narc burries the burden of altruistic care for you. Is hell on earth!

I’m asking because I had to be rescued (frozen and catatonic) after 12 hours held at gunpoint, kept awake for almost 12 days consecutively (1-2 max naps) in total, more felonies repeated…. by a malignant narcissist but I got chills hearing the video describing dark empaths… because I saw (his mask slipped) and he failed to hide the absolute joy on his face when it was clear that he’d inflicted another deep wind… that sadistic glee is what terrified me most.

I mostly understand peoples feelings and very often get the feeling when someone is mad or sad and tries to hide it. But I mostly don't care and ignore it. For example one girl of our class needed a break from school, because it was too much for her. The thing was I was aware of that many months before because it was just obvious, but I just never cared or talked with er about it and I don't even care that she is gone now.

Looking back on this from the first time I watched this, I most definitely did. Nowadays it doesn't seem to be as bad but I'm not sure if it's because I've repressed it, I just don't hate as much, or if I've managed to genuinely work through it. I definitely still have a lot of these habits but it doesn't feel as rooted in hate.

I am both a Dark Empath and a Psychopath let me tell you sometimes I have done things that are scary. Many people have said I am a Psychopath since I was a child bc I don’t show much empathy however there are times I do try to show it.

There is no such thing as a "Sociopath". There is the psychopath, we defined by Behavior Science, and there also exists "Anti-Social Personality Disorder". "Sociopathy" is NOT a scientific term!

Interesting. I am a psychopath. How odd; I thought that because I am never violent (except when I choose to be), I wasn't "that bad." I also know, somehow, that there's a... dangerous corner of my mind. I don't know how to explain it any differently; I just know that there are things in there, horrible things. And to anyone tempted to empathize with me -- I mean horrible things to other people*. My own history was mostly... banal. Neglected, underserved educationally (I am also categorized as *profoundly gifted), autistic (probably) and so on -- but those stories are a dime a dozen. But there's a corner of my mind where, if I "let myself be that guy" I could happily hurt or murder; not because I LIKE those things, but because -- say -- they would amuse me briefly, and I am so titanically bored.

Also, contrary to expectation: I -- if I am in fact a psychopath and not just a profoundly intelligent, but deeply troubled man (which is still a very real possibility) -- do not lack empathy. In fact, I remember that when my mother introduced me to some of the core "mysteries" of Christianity, I -- a life long atheist -- reacted to, for instance, the Problem of Evil, or (in Gautama's words) "the problem of suffering" -- reacted by feeling so much compassion and empathy towards, well, humanity... a bunch of scared, lonely, barely evolved apes just flailing around hurting each other because we lack the courage to love... I started crying. I mean, I'm still an atheist, mind you -- this wasn't really about religion. But the idea that I, as a psychopath, lack compassion is... so very wrong. I just have to... disconnect myself from it somehow, because it *hurts too much*. And this is that "non-automatic emotional response" that you mentioned psychopaths have. I have that, in spades.

There is no such thing as a chemical imbalance. What evidence can you cite proving this assertion as true? I learned in grad school for my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, that it does not exist.
