Lyft just did the unthinkable! Waze and Google Maps BANNED?!

Yep, Lyft did a few weeks ago

Just happen to me here in Minnesota - Updated it yesterday - 7 years and 5 months with over 33,000 rides using Uber and Lyft - I use Google Maps because it's the most reliable way to do Rideshare for me - Using my I-pad on my sun visor I get a huge map in detail where I am going. I did 10 rides just fine using Google Maps smooth as always - Then it happed no Google maps and back to my phone (Old school). I took one last ride which happen to be a two stopper - Mcdonalds then home when we got close to Mcdonald it did not know where to turn in (only because the lady was struggling to add the stop) I knew it was Mcdonalds otherwise would be dumfounded where to go. On the way to her home, we have to make a U-turn (Google maps would know this) but Lyft Navigation told me to make a left turn which would have put me on the Highway and the rest of the trip was awful as well not being able to see a detail map is like being blinded and house was on the right side not the left .

Tried contacting Lyft but just got just a stupid AI who just gave scripted responses - Safety and accuracy is most important to me so Lyft just lost a good driver - Back to Uber yaaa because they keep asking before some rides if I want to use Uber Navigation - NO GOOGLE MAPS that why there is this thing called settings.

I’ve found in the past that the Lyft app navigation reports you for taking the wrong route even if it’s faster. Bummed that I now have to use it when using Lyft.
