How can anyone dislike this game? This was my favorite game to play as a child.

The nostalgia overflows in your mind when you see the game startup.

I get that it was a bug but I'm sad they got rid of the pitched up "SEGA!" in Origins.

Seeing this game triggered flashbacks of a wayer stage in one of these early games.

Classic

Sonic 2 was one of my earliest longplays and it didn't have the quality that we want longplays to have now. So this is a correction of that. Esoecially my previous attempt to get all Chaos emeralds as early as possible made the old upload hard to watch since I was backtracking the first acts multiple times to get 50 rings again.
Also now all endings are present and I added the showcase of Knuckles to the end instead of mixing it in which was confusing

I played this game and its a classic game that really takes me back

Out of the first four mainline Sonic games on the Genesis, Sonic 2 is still my all time favorite. The soundtrack still runs in my brain from time to time.

While sonic 1 is still a good game, it still feels like a prototype. Sonic 2 feels like the real start of the series and the one people should start with
