Cool! This show is so complex.

I like to think before time you existed the monsters had no real memories it was just chaos. A few of them were lucky enough once time existed to remember life before time which knowledge gave them incredible power to return to what they know. With the destruction of time and the universe they would all just go back into their chaotic soup state which is normal. Once time and the universe was created it became chaotic for them to have to deal with all these new things that never existed. I don’t see them as evil just trying to return things back to normal before time.

The Lich is a scholar of Golb

The lich isn't a primordial he literally said he was "taught" by the primordials memory magic is a thing afterall which is why he would know such things. And before you say why would they help him it'd quite possible he found one with common goals. It's much more of a stretch to assume he was reincarnated into a already alive thing than him just being taught. Plus though the lich is powerful he has showed no appearance relation to any primordial they all have a yellow theme he doesn't. Good video though.

Finn does know about the sea of monsters but chooses not to because he wanted to experience life. And you cant understand the nuances of life if you never experience anything for the first time

My theory on Coccontempi is that he genuinely taught mortals magic and was working with them, but they were terrified. They used the anti-magic entity to weaken and then "kill" him but he transformed into Peppermint. That's what made him hate mortals.

It's possible that the primordials were killed by what ever created the universe.

It's possible that glob came into existence to contextualize the chaos and started consuming other elements.
From the vacuum an entirely of creation was born that prizmo calls his boss, bringing order to existence by creating time.

Or it was the opposite way around.
Creation was born and glob came into existence to contain the chaos the the primordials no longer inhabitated.

Rather curiously, the penguin known as “Gunter” seemed to show a degree of resistance to the influence of his origins as Orgalorg, dismantling his own method of communication with his previous victims. Unless that was simply to hide his activities from the Ice King (unlikely, given Simon’s complete lack of a reaction to the spilling out brain matter), Gunter had lived enough of a life separate from Orgalorg to consider himself his own person.

The Lich is definitely a primordial. Why else would he tell the King of Ooo about it and then proceed to rise above the other monsters as if one of them and traumatize him?

He was definitely trying to point out the fact that the King of Ooo messed with the wrong guy and how he wasn't just a dumb kid but a monster who has existed since before even time did.
