I hated hyenas until I watched a documentary on them. Especially a hyena called “Snaggle” she was such a good momma hyena and she kept her baby safe and full belly 🫄 all the time. She was cute with her snaggle tooth 😸. 🫶🤟 to snaggle 😺 my favorite momma hyena . Hope she’s still around

I had the pleasure of seeing some spotted hyenas up close, and personal at the zoo the other day. And I mean she came up just barely out of arms reach. The male came over eventually, and I just stood with them for about 10 minutes. Ngl they were cute as hell, I wanted to take one home. They're a lot larger than I had expected from what I'd seen on TV. Ever since I've been looking more into them, cuz I love learning about all different types of animals, but I never dove too deep into hyenas. They just might be one of my new favorites, who knows

I liked this one. Hyenas don't often get a sympathetic narrative in documentaries, they're always the villians or the ones we are rooting against. They're just trying to survive just like the lions that get celebrated for doing the same things

Hyenas are the most underrated predator.. their survival instinct, crushing bite force, intelligence,great stamina; they are not superfast animal but can chase their prey for a very long time so their prey gets tired and will be eventually killed by them(Hyena)...very gore scenes so I advise you to skip watchim their table manners..😂😂

I love hyenas since they are the ones who always get hated on. I also really enjoy the wild dogs which are also just as ruthless as hyenas but they're also more pack oriented.

"this ingenious method" she puts the lotion on her skin, "veins JUST beneath her skin" like any living being? can you link a documentary you made about anything living on this planet hiding their veinns?? and fk off with all the suspense. if i want a drama i type it into whatever provider i use for drama. we want to see the kill and happy hyena babies, not an hour long wait for whatever. im a human after all, and very impatient. all that aside, very much respect to you for the cameraman and his crew. i like hyenas

Great documentary. I just wish they wouldn't add random animal sounds all the time. All the background hyena giggles and whoops when the yeens are doing nothing, or are just walking, really give the wrong impression.
Animals are silent for long stretches of time. It's nature. There's no need to spice it up. Just present it as it truly is!
