William Joseph Nozak and Lindsay Marie Winfrey Engagement at the Purple Glaze

We came from Charlestons Restaurant. I had delivered the flowers earlier in the day and had bought the ring about 2 weeks earlier. I told her earlier in the day I had been scoping a jeweler and was hoping to buy a ring possibly by the end of the year, she had no idea I had already purchased the ring; she did know we were within several months from our engagement. I hired the group filming and told them to pose as a group doing a school project over the Purple Glaze. I told Lindsay I was painting a platter of 'OU football', good thing she wasn't paying attention. I was painting a TO DO LIST and on it I painted a guy kneeling down to a girl and under the picture it said "I love you". We wanted the first I Love You to have a lot of meaning, so this was the first time we said it to each other, even though we knew we loved each other for quite awhile. I finished my painting and signaled the manager to bring out the roses, the film crew all of a sudden were filming us, and then I proposed. It was a fun and exciting time for both of us. No notes, so lots of nerves. My advice is write down what you want to say!
