please help. I bought the Ninja V off ebay. when I go to activate it, it says that the DID number is already in use. The seller is not helping, and telling me to contact Atomos support. Any ideas on how I can fix this issue?

Hi! I can't find any info on whether you can use the ninja V to focus the shot by touching the screen on what you want to focus on. I know its touch screen but that doesn't mean it'll replicate the camera screen does it? Is that doable? I'm looking at using the ninja v with the Canon r6. I have a basic 7" external monitor only (not a recorder) and when I plug in the HDMI to the r6 body the rear screen on the r6 turns off meaning you can use the menu or focus etc. You can use the external monitor to get to the menu functions but you can't use the awesome touch screen focusing options 😭😭😭

Great video! I saw it when it came on 2018, but wannted to see it again, for my a7iii....QUESTION! do you know if it Will let me récord 4k 60fps on my a7iii? im sure you already know this camera doesn't récord 60FPS so, having the átomos ninja would allow me to do it???

Your video is high quality, probably very advanced but as someone who has been shooting film and video for 40 years, after 5 minutes of watching your video I still have no idea what this product does. It would be great if you explain in plain language ie you take your camera and you plug into this thing with an HDMI etc and it does this and this is how you do it, where you plug it in and how you record. Maybe do that in the first 2 minutes?

When it comes to post-production, what is the minimum number of RAM and Intel Core that I need in order to edit those large files that the Atomos records?

I've always shot checking the camera screen when shooting video. Can someone explain to me how can you trust you are exposing properly when using a monitor when shooting video? If those devices have brightness, doesn't that mean that could spoil my exposure? How can you know they're reproducing what the camera is actually seeing? I've checked around and they always dodge that question.

i dont understand, why would you need a monitor that records standing on top of your recorder?

Can anything be done about that lag?? U can tell how bad it is watching the feed right next to you, the live action. Surely there's a fix for this??

Hi, Thanks for the great video. Quick question. Can I connect to LANC control port on ZCAM E2-M4 or E2-S6 instead of USB-C ? ie. LANC on Ninja V to LANC on E2 camera. Keeping USB-C free is useful to record with SSD disks directly.

I know it's not what it's really meant for but could this replace an external portable SSD drive like a Samsung T5/T7?

My only complaint would be the lack of XLR inputs like the Ninja Inferno, but I guess that's to be expected given the size and price point.

They dropped the price to $499 about a month ago. They might be coming up with something else soon.
