Hi Jared thanks for the video, do you ever provide a Guitar Pro file?
ОтветитьI like the version ‘Les Feuilles Mortes’ by Yves Montand
ОтветитьBrilliant
ОтветитьThanks for the great lesson. I play 9 or 10 gigs per month as a jazz guitarist. Did an occasional gig on upright bass until I got carpal tunnel syndrome in my left hand. Luckily I’m still able to play guitar gigs. I play duo, trio, quartet, mostly behind singers, horn players, guitar duos, guitar-bass duos, etc. There are a lot of things that I’m not good at, but the one that bugs me the most is that I’m afraid to take a solo guitar gig. I’m not bad at chord melody, but it sounds thin, because I’m not good at fitting in the bass lines with melody notes and letting chords ring, like two instruments, as you mentioned. I’m about to immerse myself in this lesson. Hoping to use this as a templet for more stuff. I’ll keep you posted. I just discovered your channel. New subscriber. Thanks, again!
Ответитьusually when I play my wife yells up to me "SHUT THE DOOR".
That changed when I started to play this song. She came upstairs and said "THAT IS Beautiful"
So my many thanks for this lesson. Now, practice, practice, practice.🎶
Marvellous. I would like to thank you to share your experiences skills with us so cool.i wish u 'll go on 🤛
Ответитьthank you
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьLove the way you you teach guitar practical and theory Jared and your passion is amazing...Oh and the Jazz tuts rock...pun intended 😊
ОтветитьToo much talk
ОтветитьHi Jared, Just stumbled upon your channel and really like yor way of explaining. I love playing finger style guitar, but often struggle between way too complicated partiture that takes me ages to figure out and memorise and oversimplified tabs or multi track tabs.
This is exactly what I was looking for.
Subscribed to your channel and looking forwards to seeing more of you.
How to accompany a singer? Autumn leaves
ОтветитьI could only reach the Chords with Color pdf from the emails, where could I find tabs for this?
ОтветитьNice arrangement! Thank you
ОтветитьYou are possible the greatest teacher I've seen so far, Thank You!! lucky me I've found you!
ОтветитьBonjour, merci et bravo… but what about the first part of this french tune which is a pretty one when played in chord melody « les feuilles mortes se ramassent à la pelle… » and so on, rubato , without any tempo.
Have a try. Please.
Cheers.
( an old man from France ).
Too much talk!
ОтветитьAwesome, thanks
ОтветитьI wanted to learn this for so long and now I have because of your video! Thank you so much! Take care!!!
ОтветитьJust found your channel, as an aspiring jazz guitarist I know I can learn a lot here. Now subscribed.
ОтветитьI believe the score needs a correction. After the repeat where the words are "I used to hold", the tab notation is not correct. At least it doesn't conform to what you are playing. And doubt most people could actually do 5-0-9 on the 3rd, 4th, & 5th strings. Let me know if this has been corrected and I will download a new version. Thanks. I love this solo guitar rendition. It's just the sort of thing I'm trying to learn.
ОтветитьI just watched a couple of your vids and downloaded the pdfs. This is the channel I've been searching for. Subscribed.
ОтветитьBrilliant arrangement - thank you for this lesson.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьHello Jared, I wonder if you would disclose what amp you are using? Your tone is always really really nice!
ОтветитьNice, but I'm not there yet :( Thanks
ОтветитьBeautiful!!! Been wanting to learn Autumn leaves for a while. This lesson is clearly presented. Adding this as my new project. Subscribing from Australia 👍🙏👏👏👏
ОтветитьGreat lesson. I have been using Autumn Leaves as a framework for your Nail the Changes course (Minor and major 251s). I have been working on Jens Larsen's chord melody arrangement in the lower register (also in G minor) so this may force me into more fretboard territory. Together they may help me see the fretboard better and hopefully integrate the material.
ОтветитьThank you Jared! I'm not much of a Jazz enthusiast, but I am a struggling finger style student and this Song Lesson is musically beautiful and a perfect Chord Melody finger style lesson 👍🏾👍🏽🎯🕊❗️
ОтветитьThank you. Wonderful lesson.
ОтветитьGreat lesson man !!!! 😍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
ОтветитьNice ! I do believe that I have my new guitar project. I spent about 2 years learning " Classical Gas " ( I'm a drummer so yeah , it took me a while..) and now , on to Autumn... Thank you very much
ОтветитьBeautiful rendition Jared. This is certainly doable for me. Thank you very much for sharing
ОтветитьLovely clear lesson thank you.
ОтветитьThis is my favorite jazz tune of all time. Great arrangement!
