ОтветитьIt would be very helpful to Viewers if You specified that Your Video was from the Perspective of the Employee , NOT from the Manager/Leader's point of View, Otherwise I think my reports would find this helpful for how to conduct themselves during a review. Thankyou for sharing. All the best
ОтветитьGreat tips Linda. I've been following your chat session for a while now and hope to gain a great job here shortly as I am getting ready to enter into my doctorate's program. Thank you again.
ОтветитьHow to deal with neutral or only vague feedback is hard to deal with. I tried to ask for constructive criticism or what I need to do the reach the next level. They answered that it really depends, and that they don't really know what I can do and to ask my team mates. He said for promotions it is based on business need and opportunity. I volunteered for more responsibility and did not get a response. Nothing really negative or positive was said.
ОтветитьGod damnit Linda I tried my best to listen but you’re so damn gorgeous I had to rewind so many times. Great vid!
ОтветитьDope vid, thanks!
ОтветитьJust to make people aware, your year end financial compensation decisions often times occur a few months before your actual formal year end review with your manager so don’t wait too long before making your intentions clear. Atleast this is the case in banking. If salary updates/bonus occur in feb, assume in November that management is already deciding your cut of the pie
ОтветитьJust a thought here but if you get a negative reciew that you are surprised about, it might be worth considering whether or not it's worth postponing your career growth timeline and goals so you can start forcing your manager to better communicate their goals for you over the next six months before meeting again with them.
ОтветитьIf you hear the word PIP, start looking for another job. I’ve never seen them used genuinely to improve an employee’s performance
ОтветитьJust had my job review a couple of days ago! What a waste of time!
ОтветитьSubscribe d.. Very pleasant
ОтветитьThank you for sharing great video😊
ОтветитьPerformance reviews are pure bullshit , it’s all based on the organization’s or team performance !! These tips are for little headed people thinking world is good to them !!! It’s biased always , my advice is always have a plan B and start looking for another job , always believe that you are better than jack asses !!
ОтветитьThis is so straight forward &helpful!!! ✨✨
Ответитьmy performance review is tomorrow! Watching you explain what to do is so helpful as this is actually my very first. Thank you very much and more views and subscribers!!!
Ответитьcan we ask for promotions in mid year?
ОтветитьBrilliant
Ответитьlinda , you have made my life easy and ambitious !! much love to you 🤍🤍👍🏻
ОтветитьIs this a fairway to ask for a raise? “ based on my skill sets and the value that I’ll bring to the team what do you consider to be fair market value for a person with my knowledge and experience(22 yrs) ?”
ОтветитьBeing told what I’m doing wrong and where I’m going wrong that is an opportunity for growth. I feel like if the boss didn’t see potential you never would’ve made it to the evaluation you would’ve been on the chopping block
ОтветитьGood video
ОтветитьI hate performance reviews. They are like going through job interview every couple of months.
Ответитьthanks for making this video! Very helpful! Soon to have my very first performance review and I’m scattering because I have no idea what to say or do!

ОтветитьWow! I have a performance review tomorrow and instead I of getting good rest I’m watching her for the first time. I think I made the right choice, a lot of great tips but I wish I new about this channel sooner
ОтветитьHopefully I ain't the only one who gets physically upset of performance reviews. I always have to get it out of my system on the day. I always take on the feedback as well though afterwards. Just sometimes need to get it outta my system on the day.
Ответитьexcellent advice, thank you
ОтветитьI've been working from home for over a year, and don't know what I did above or beyond, seriously.
ОтветитьI got "needs improvement" which is very much demotivating so I'm going to quit.
ОтветитьI hate performance reviews. It's based solely on the managers perspective , your own perspective isn't taken into consideration mine is tomorrow morning, DREADFUL
ОтветитьExcellent! About to try this today!
ОтветитьThis was great thank you, I'm super nervous for my first formal review tomorrow.
ОтветитьThis is awesome information and so clearly presented ☀️ thank you.
ОтветитьThese were some great tips, as I have a performance review tomorrow and now I feel like I can successfully articulate myself whilst getting my needs met too. Thank you for your work.
ОтветитьYou are not only professional...you are a beautiful human being.
ОтветитьWhat are steps 4 & 5?

I just had mine... she just went over my goals I made last time... I'm pretty new to this and I feel it was just a pat on the back... I don't feel like I got anything solid.... but she is interested in seeing some of my new skills get used in some side projects which I'm starting... but after I finish those I feel I'll have more value to bring to the bargaining table
Ответитьreally good advice thank you!
Ответитьmy last boss would underrate me for everything. now i may have had room to improve but he kept me in the "just competant" category for 2 years. i was like that's harsh. but he was a brit expat working in canada. he came from working his underlings harder and put in dues. i would only work hard within office hours which is 40h per week. he made it difficult to grow. luckily i was able to get let go and got hired by their biggest competitor for more pay and senior role. my advice is to work for someone who is a level or 2 above you not upper management. my boss was a senior manager used to waving his hand and getting work done. i only did my work.
ОтветитьHi Linda, thanks for sharing. do you have Tips for a Supervisor / Manager to perform PA effectively?. Thanks.
