When I started playing Yu-Gi Oh! as a kid, fusion monsters seemed so cool and fascinating, yet it took me little time to realize they were not only garbage, but also the fusions made no sense most of the time. On top of that, Polymerization was almost impossible to get before the Joey deck came out. As a kid, I had never seen anyone other than me that had Polymerization, not even as a bootleg card.

To be fair “Slifer” is a MUCH more badass name to use for a card than “Goldfine” 😂

Musician King does makes sense due to its fusion material. WOTBF (which is a DARK attribute) and the Lady of FAITH. hence, the band, Black Sabbath. Thus, the card, Musician King

You know dudes & dudettes when I first play and collect YuGiOh Cards I enjoy the game for a while and that was during the GX Era and around that Era there we're a lot of idea's💡 for Fusion Monsters I had but ever since the creator of YuGiOh had pass away and the idea I had in mind was involving: [3 Battle Warrior's Cards Put Them In Fusion] to fuse them into this idea Monster I like to call: [Mega Battler] he be a Warrior/Fusion/Effect Type Monster and being a Earth Attribute Type as well and his Special Effects will be: [When This Card Is Fusion Summon The Effect Is To Put Your Opponent Monster In Defense Mode For 3 Turns] & [2nd Effect If This Card Gets Destroyed In Battle 3 Battle Warrior's Gets Summon From The Field Graveyard All 3 Battle Warrior's In Defense Mode] and for image looks Mega Battler would look like a different version of Battle Warrior but bulkier and instead of blue he'll have both Red & Black and his attack and defense will be: [ATK 2200 & DEF 2700] and Mega Battler Level would have to be: [Level 7] and I don't why on Battle Warrior well dudes & dudettes it's because well I like the look of him and he maybe a low level lesser normal type monster in the history of YuGiOh but I and others like the looks of him and he couldn't be more cooler to make his appearance in YuGiOh Anime Show Series as well in some of the YuGiOh Video Games I keep Battle Warrior as a keep sake of the game I love of what I use to play but I now play the New YuGiOh Game that is now on the Nintendo Switch and that is even more awesome to get to play once more don't you think so dudes & dudettes.!?¡¿ ♤♡♧◇€£₩¥☆

Musician King is the weirdest component for two monsters that has no resemblance in any way.

Black skull dragon' dark palidin and blue eye ultimate wer some of the best. Meteor dark dragon wasn't in the first show but was out in the real world before gx came out.

Zombyra is based on a comic book in the manga that was basically off-brand "Spawn", so maybe Last Warrior from Another Planet's fusion materials have some sort of larger reference to Image Comics characters in them? Last Warrior certainly looks like Rob Liefeld drew him.

I read a comment in another video about weird Yu-Gi-Oh fusions that stated that "Musician King"'s fusion is reference to famous bands. "Witch of The Black Forest" would represent "Black Sabbath" and "Lady of Faith" another famous band (that I don't recall now) and together they make this fusion monster as a homage to these bands.
