What happened to this stunning lighter? The owner lost the bike in loose stuff, slid it into a swampy area just off the highway. He had just lit a cig and didn’t zip the pocket on the leathers. The lighter fell out and sunk to the bottom. That night he was looking for the lighter, realizing what had happen, he returned to the scene and dug it out of the mud believing it eternally ruined. His club gave him a new one. This one was tucked away until after his funeral a few years later, instead of keeping it as a memorial his old lady cussed him and tossed it in the flea market box. I fill my zippo lighter with fluid and two or three days later it has all evaporated it passes the wind test but the fluid does not last for some reason any ideas?
