The entire time I imagined Goji surprise, surprise. But it’s awesome to imagine Shins or Legendary’s massive 400 foot frame as they are talking a legierlly stroll through a thunderstorm while the humans just try and survive in there presence.

That nightmare where his house was destroyed and his doggo died really got me. I thought it was real at first, but in retrospect the sudden transition should have made it obvious, but I was too emotionally invested to think about that! That was very well done, writer! In general I love these types of stories, as a fan of the works of H.P Lovecraft, and especially the Cthulhu mythos! Damn tho, after the panic of that one part was over, I had to go give my doggo a cuddle just to relieve my mind lol, that was too well-done.

More stories like this. This is a near perfect level of scope and ambiguity for a giant monster story.

I think this is my favorite story, I'm not 100% a fan of the end of it, but I have a problem with most horror story endings. That said the beginning of this is so wonderfully powerful so awe-inspiring and so realistic. The news reports the men's reactions is nightmare the dog
