The Wind West of Wind Panel at NREL’s Flatirons Campus

A panel of wind energy pioneers talk about the “Wild West of Wind” as well as where wind energy is headed. Moderator Ernie Tucker draws from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory’s (NREL) Clean Energy Innovators book chapter of the same name, which covers the field from the 1970’s to the present. The lively panel discussion features NREL’s Bob Thresher, Brian Smith, Amy Robertson, Walt Musial, and former wind expert Sandy Butterfield and others in the audience on April 6, 2023, at NREL’s Flatirons Campus.
