My mom has a cough and sore throat for over two weeks she says it’s getting better but with her symptoms it could definitely be strep. You can know how you have a lump if you have throat fullness feeing she doesn’t have that. She has a muffled ear which could be ear infection which would explain this no coughing up blood nothing else

I'm a 15 year old boy from Sweden. I've never smoked or drinked (a lot) since I know the harsch consequenses of it. Despite this I a few months ago felt a lump in my throat. I could feel it very clearly sometimes at the bottom of my throat. I thought nothing more about it until it got pretty irratating. So I complained to my dad about the lump. We didn't think it wasn't anything urgent so we waited a bit and it actually got a bit better. However, after some time I noticed another lump feeling on another spot in my throat. I told my dad and we went to a small hospital (vårdcentral in swedish, a small hospital with less qualified personell that can deal with easy problems and send you to more qualified hospitals). I told the doctors about my lumps in my throats and they tried their best to figure out what was wrong. I told them about my allergies against mites and they asked me a lot of questions. After a discussion they decided to book a appointment for a hospital with doctors specialised on nose, ear and throat. The weeks went by and it was now summer. The first few weeks of summer I felt a weird feeling in my throat and after a while it got increasingly harder to swallow. I decided to not let that stop my summer plans. That was a big mistake becauase I also got more and more tired and had to take breaks just from cleaning my room to breathe and relax. After been taking it easy and been relaxing for a week my dad, sister and me were going on a loooong roadtrip to the northern part of Sweden. The day before the trip I was really tired and felt like I had to pause sometimes just to breathe. When the first roadtrip day arrived I felt pretty bad. However, I didn't wanna ruin the semester for my dad and my sister so I just went with it. After a few hours I felt that it was hard to breathe and I felt lumps in my throat. I had no apetite and had it hard to swallow food. I also suffered panic attacks. This went on trougout the day and the next day. When we arrived at our hotel my dad decided that I should go to the local hospital to be checked so there were no dangerous signs of anything. The doctors didn't find anything urgent and we went back to the hotel. I felt a lot better knowing I didn't suffer from anything dangerous. However 2 problems still remained. I had it hard to swallow and I was extremely tired. So I didn't eat a lot during the semester and I just laid in bed almost all the time. Eventually we went home and the trip went pretty well if you compare it to my trip to the hotel. When I got home I hoped it would get better but it didn't. If anything it got worse. My dad called around to different doctors and eventually we got an appointment at the ear, nose and throat hospital. The day when I'm gonna go there is tomorrow and they are gonna look inside my throat with a tiny camera. A bit scary but it also feels nice knowing that I might soon get an answer of what the hell is wrong with my throat. Of course I've had plenty of time of trying to figure out what might be wrong myself. I've googled around (bad idea you only get scared) and found out a few things. I might have throat cancer, but I could also have problems with the muscles that swallow, it could also be an infection or problems with my stomach and acid refluxes. It can also be so much more. Idk what do you guys think? Also worth noticing is that I've had swollen lymph nodes under my cheeks for almost a year. I told some doctors about it but they said they didn't feel anything. I've also been suffering from sudden panicattacks from time to time and more frequently lately. Maybe I've been stressed out a lot since my last year in middle school just ended and I studied a lot at home and in school. I've also been suffering from some anxiety when it comes to sickness and symptoms. I easily stress myself and that can lead to a panic attack. So all of this could also just be something pshyological. Something that my brain makes up. Hopefully I will get some answers tomorrow and if I have time and if I'm remebering this comment I will update this comment when I know more. This was also my longest comment ever written YT! Idk if anyone will read this long comment but it certainly hepled myself to describe my weird feelings and symptoms. If anyone has any questions or wants to write anything, go ahead reply to me and I will probably reply back. If I stopped replying it probably means I don't have access to this account, not getting notifications or someting terrible has happened to me. I'm usually pretty active when it comes to replying to comments.

UPDATE:

I've been to the doctor now. He looked through my nose into my throat and didn't see anything wrong with it. He told me that it probably was problems with my stomach acid entering my throat and irratating my throat. So he gave my pills to stop that. However I have to use it for 3-4 weeks for it to be effective and I haven't seen any changes yet. Right now I'm only eating soup, ice cream and drinking stuff contained with a lot of energy and healty stuff. When I swallow it feels weird all the way up to my left ear. I just want this problem to stop. I'm feeling very unmotivated, have lost even more weight and I' generally tired right now. Luckily I don't have anything important to do right now since I have summer break but still I want to enjoy it. Next step is too get my throat x-rayed/scanned to see if there's anything weird there.

I don't hope I don't have cancer. I cant figure out what my problem is. I went to my dentist and oral surgeon last week to be evaluated about my recent dark spot in my mouth that has appeared again after years. The oral surgeon offered me a biopsy, and he said it would cost over $1,000 with my insurance. I had so many health problems since 2008 when I graduated high school. As for the month and throat problem, the roof palate of my mouth turned dark brown/black in 2017 or 2018. I had a black doctor at the time. He told me nothing was wrong with my mouth and black people have darker gums. He ignored my symptoms. Months and years later, my tonsils have been completely swollen and they never went down. The back of my mouth is always red, and there are small lumps hidden below my tonsils. I did go to an otolaryngologist (ENT) last year. He looked and immediately said my tonsils need to be removed. I still think there is something more going on. I have also been dizziness with vertigo since February. I have a neurologist appointment on May 3. My mouth and throat has been red and swollen since 2017 or 2018. It looks hideous.

I have servere sciatica which causes acute chronic pain everyday and have had several run ins with countless doctors over my 33 years of living. They simply don't give a fuck and excuse my language as I'm christian but I believe this more than calls for the use of extremism. I've grown tired of heartless doctors who simply don't care about there patients.

I have throught pain for 1 year does that mean i have cancer

I'm scared I've smoked weed for over 20 years. I do not smoke cigarettes, but I did smoke blunts(cigars) with weed and I also have some sort of HPV because I do have Genital Warts that don't go away but I've had a pain in my throat that comes and goes for over maybe 2 years now.
