So your artist takes pauses to let the skin cooldown.
My advise is if you are not comfortable with pain then go for outline tattoos which needs single line sketches. Dont go for filling of areas

Just got my first tattoo. Wasn’t as painful as I thought it was gonna be, but it still was painful. I would describe the sensation as someone rubbing something small and sharp on a bad sunburn

I always said I would never get a tattoo. Last year, I got my first tattoo on my 20th birthday. I'm getting my second tattoo on my 21st birthday. I decided when I got my first one that I would only get a tattoo on my birthday so it's special. I have three more planned after this one coming up.

Worse part about tattoos is some of the horrendous angles you have to sit sometimes or position your limbs. Long sessions in awkward positions honestly can make you feel like youv been beaten up
